Ordered a large window with install. After that point the store wanted nothing to do with us. Everything went through some corporate installs department out of state. Their "delivery optimization" program is trash. Lets make working people wait until 6pm the day before a delivery to give them their delivery window so you cant plan anything. Best part was them splitting my delivery into 2 different days. friday and then monday. Sounds real optimal, not to mention now I have to lose another 1/2 day of work waiting on a delivery. They ordered 7ft interior trim pieces for an 8ft wide window too, so thats cool.

I tried getting a discount on very expensive paint primer that was clearly opened. They took the can and came back to me empty-handed. I was told me the coloration was off and I said that was no problem since it is primer. Then she made another excuse saying it wasn't mixing right which is odd as I've worked with this primer and it usually mixes right up. She asked if I wanted another can and when I said yes she just said okay and walked away. So I walked all the way back to the primer area to grab another can. I was just trying to help them clear out some of their clearly damaged inventory and get a little discount on primer that cost $100 a gallon. Frustrating...

We stopped in recently while shopping for several appliances and were immediately greeted by an associate named Parker, who came right over and asked how he could help. His attentiveness, product knowledge, and genuine care made the whole experience stand out. At one point he disappeared for a while and the floor went quiet — not another attendant to be found — so we tracked someone down who radioed for Parker, and he came right back and picked up right where he left off. In a busy store with employees moving in every direction — which itself speaks well of this location — Parker took the time to answer every question we had. The store was well stocked and clearly well run. A couple of the items we had in mind weren't available on the floor, and one had to be back ordered, but that worked out fine given our schedule. Appliance prices have climbed significantly across the board — that's the market, not Lowe's — but it was still a bit of a jolt after being out of the appliance market for more than a decade. We're glad this store is right at the edge of town and close to home, and we plan to be back to see if their prices are competitive on the other appliances we still have our eye on.
