Staff is absolutely obnoxious.
I needed help at the Tool’s area because I needed a laser mesure. If you been to this place you’ll see that the all the lasers are locked by some transparent doors and you need a special key in order to get what you need. As a labor guy, everyone knows that we are always rushing and going back and forth to our job sites. Well, it was my case today and I asked not one, but two time for someone to help me get the laser. The first time a guy told me “We will be right with you in a second”. I waited like 10 min looking around other tools and then I went to this young cashier full of makeup in the face and I told her I needed help by the tools area. She grabbed like a phone or something they use in this store to find prices and all that and she said “We will send some with you”. I went back to the tool area, waited another 10 min, I got desperate because I had to leave and I had to pull the door a little bit and try to grab the laser box hoping it didn’t fell.. Luckily I was able to get the laser by myself and when I went to the self checkout, these two useless individuals were standing there like nothing. Not an apology, not an excuse, just standing there like I never asked for help.

I was going to Lowes back when I first opened over 10 years ago probably 15 years ago. There used to be customer service there was 3 to 4 cashiers open. Now all there is is self check out they won’t even pay a cashier to help you. I tried to walk out with a lawnmower and the woman told me I had to use self check out with 100 pound lawnmower. She literally did not want to help me scan it. So now you have one woman that handles 4 to 6 self checkouts instead of hiring a cashier. But meanwhile, you’re not giving us a discount on our merchandise for having to check ourselves out.
I will give everybody a tip go down to the Construction Entrance because that’s the only place that has actually human being cashier. Lois has become absolutely disgusting with customer service. It’s really a shame because it used to be one of the best stores around and now they’re complaining about a profit loss. Well when you treat your customers like crap that’s what’s going to happen.
You have to walk around the store for 20 minutes to find somebody to help you and then they want you to check your own self out instead of paying the cashier like are you serious? You’re making billions and profit and you can’t hire cashiers? Another liberal mentality.

I bought some lumber, patio stones and cinder blocks and paid for next day delivery; for two weeks, the order was changed daily with no communication from Lowe's except the incessant 'order changed' emails (see attached photo). It took multiple hours on the phone with Lowe's national help line to reach someone at the store about this; it's clear they're horribly understaffed and I feel bad for the workers there. When I finally did get connected with people from the store (over multiple phone calls) they were as helpful as possible, Ray in particular was very communicative once this issue landed in his lap. Ultimately, after the 'next day delivery' turned into two weeks and no end in sight, I cancelled the order and had to jump through more national help desk hoops to get back to the store for someone to help me facilitate the cancellation and refund. I did get my money back, but I'm back at square one with these projects two weeks past the date I needed to complete them, having burned hours trying to figure out just what was going on, not to mention the multiple days my wife and I took off from work to meet and sign for the supposed delivery. I'm worse off now than before I put in the order. This is the worst experience I've ever had just trying to order something. I do not recommend this store, or Lowe's in general at this point.
