As a frequent, recognizable customer who works nearby, I am incredibly disappointed by my recent visit. During the lunch rush, only three packed registers were open. While looking for a shorter line with my three items, the manager assumed I was trying to leave without paying. She stared me down and sent security to intimidate me after I had already paid and was leaving. The staff is consistently dismissive, and the unfounded profiling was completely disrespectful. For a store that promotes Christian values, the behavior I experienced was the exact opposite. Also item quality and quantity is going down. I will not be returning.

Offensive to our diverse community.
If you expect support from the lower Manhattan community I suggest that you remove the sign that states that you are closed on Sundays to allow employees and customers to have family time and WORSHIP! Not everyone is WORSHIPS on Sundays! We are a diverse multifaceted community with many different ideas and beliefs.
Show some respect.

Hobby Lobby is a gigantic store where you can easily spend hours walking through the aisles. I did about 7,000 steps today just exploring. Everything is organized by theme or season, which makes browsing enjoyable and helps you discover new items. I picked up stickers, utensils, and some beautiful religious pieces.
The prices are reasonable, and while home goods like towels and curtains are similar to what you might find at Marshall’s or TJ Max, Hobby Lobby stands out for its craft supplies, seasonal décor, and faith-based products. If you plan to visit, make sure you have plenty of time because there is so much to see.
