- DJDarryl G JaggaSep 16, 20261.0I have never been a fan of the container store. I always thought them to be overpriced and pretentious, and never found true satisfaction from shopping there. I thought the concept was good, but they never made a shopper out of me. However, they’ve bought Bed, Bath and Beyond, a store I did always like and today I ventured in to the store on sixth Avenue to buy a product I really needed. I went to the section found what I want and there were three of them all under a price tag of $14.99. Stupid me, I just assumed because a product is listed under a price, that that’s what it is. I was in a hurry and I thought didn’t have time to start questioning is this the right price or not. Then, after some confusion at where we were supposed to stand for the cash registers a woman called me over she rang me up and came to $65. I said no it’s marked $14.99 and she remarked not for this, shaking her head at me but I said there were three and they all under a price tag of $14.99. I said “you may want someone to check it out” She just stared at me. She said nothing. I said well I’m not taking it. She totally ignored me and proceeded to say “next” to the next customer. Not even an apology, not even an acknowledgment or to even help to help me. So I guess Bed, Bath, and Beyond did not make the Container Store nicer instead the Container Store has successfully made Bed, Bath and Beyond Nastier! I will try and be a little bit more entertaining in my TikTok and Instagram videos regarding this.
- EEEST.Sep 14, 20265.0The Container Store is one of my absolute favorites. Their containers are sleek, neat, and give my closets an organized, classy look. I especially love the acrylic hangers, they make a real difference. The Home Edit collection is my favorite, the containers are so durable, practical and super well-sealed with amazing quality. Plus, their pricing is really competitive!
