Went to buy wood and was hoping for them to cut it for me. Looked for help 3 different times and was told each time that someone would be there to help. Between waiting & looking for help, that I did not get, I ended up just leaving after 30 minutes. I Went over to Homedepot and got the wood I needed and got it cut in a total of 5 minutes.

Ordered online Bosch dishwasher to be delivered to my home with haulaway service and installation service. When I didn’t see installation service on my receipt, I called the Latham New York store for assistance. With 5 phone calls I was told each time not worry they will install your dishwasher. I said I do not see it on the receipt. I was assured there would be installation when the dishwasher was delivered to my home. The 2 men who delivered the dishwasher would not remove & haulaway my current dishwasher which I paid for online. They left the new Bosch dishwasher in the garage!
I made several attempts to speak to the appliance manager Brian or any manager at the Latham store. I never got to speak to anyone except someone who answered the phone. I have scheduled the Bosch dishwasher to be picked up & I have contacted corporate office to relate this situation and I have ordered the same Bosch dishwasher from a reputable appliance store and at a much better price.

Bought a dishwasher in advance (1 week prior to installation) Had it scheduled for Friday. I work in healthcare and would only have Fridays off. I received a text a day before that it got rescheduled to Monday. Had to reschedule it to the following Friday. Friday came — The guy who was supposed to install called and said the unit I bought was sold to somebody else (????). Went to Lowe’s — All they could do was refund my order and do it all over again. Only thing is, there were no available units left for the specific dishwasher I want. Staff were really nice and took the time to look for available units around the area. Found one at Lowe’s Colonie and had it reserved. Went to Colonie and bought the unit but now the earliest day to install was in 2 weeks. I took the unit home and installed it myself. Rather than spending the day to relax, had to deal with this.
I love Lowe’s but this could’ve been handled better. I asked if they have anything to compensate for the inconvenience — they asked for my contact information and that was it. Oh well. At least I learned how to install a dishwasher myself lol
3 stars — 1 star for how nice the staff were. 1 for hiring veterans (Thank you for your service!) and 1 because it’s Lowe’s.
