- NANorma Jean AngeloMar 28, 20231.0So sad that a public utility treats people as garbage. Somehow a broken water main valve is a renters responsibility. The amount of water they say flowed through could fill several swimming pools yet we didn’t have a wet crawl space. How would you like to pay nearly $1,400 for this non-existent water? And add late fees when they did not respond to the landlady? Also, one supervisor I spoke with promised a 25% discount if landlady brought in repair bill for new valve. That was a lie! I should not be responsible for this fiasco!! Why would anyone want to stay in this area? How about using some common sense and kindness? Common sense tells me that the meter was BROKEN- there is no way that much water flowed through the pipes. I haven’t seen your employees so I’m assuming if your records indicate they were there, then someone is not telling the truth. If your employees are helping you steal from customers, then you have a bigger problem.
