We ordered 2 ( 4 x 8) sheets of plexiglass, that we were assured could be cut in the store. When the order was brought up we were told they could not cut plexiglass that big. Our vehicle could not accommodate the huge box attached to a wooden pallet. We were then told we could rent the truck for 20 dollars to get it home. We then went to customer service to rent the truck. Lo and behold the truck was down for repairs. It was then suggested we go to the orchard park lowes to see if they had a truck to rent. At that point my husband threw his hands up in the air and canceled the order. You might think they would have offered to bring it to our house that was 1 mile away, but no. Very disappointed at how we were misled from the beginning of the order.

Online customer service is absolutly abysmalI It took over 2.5 hours to address an incorrect item delivery purchased online and get a refund on a $7 box of nails. I have had no issues with the in store customer service but this experience has made me reconsider any business I do with Lowes in the future. I spent 30 minutes on a chat only for them to say they looked up my order and they couldnt do anything and I would have to call the 1-800 number. I called customer service who said they could not refund or pickup the item and I would have to go to the store to address the incorrect item. I explained that I have a newborn at home and that is very challenging for me which is why I placed the orderd online. After waiting an hour to talk with a supervisor the represitantive had an audio issue and they hung up the call. Fortunatly they called me back but said I woud now have to go to the end of the que. However they were now able to process a full refund for the item, which they said they were unable to process before, and had this been offered an hour earlier I would have hapily taken the refund and been done. Given the length of time it took to address this issue I asked to still speak with the manager. The manager said they had already made an exception to refund the item I never received and didnt make me drive to the store to return the incorrect item (smaller box) I didnt order so they couldnt do anything else and I should be greatfull.
