  Carlo was a great help, he showed us the unit gave us good instructions about the facilities usage and made the lease process seamless. The facilities are climate controlled and clean. I highly recommend for your storage needs.

  I just moved into a climate-controlled unit at Extra Space Storage in Hamburg as part of a cross-state move, and Carlo made the whole process so much easier. The facility is brand new, clean, well-lit, and easy to get around. Carlo was friendly, helpful, and took the time to walk me through everything without making it feel complicated. Moving is stressful enough, so it was really appreciated. Highly recommend this location and Carlo in particular!

  Be aware before renting a unit here. Like many others, I was drawn in by what seemed like a competitive introductory rate, only to be hit with an $80 monthly increase after just four months. Raising rates that dramatically after such a short period feels misleading and makes it difficult to budget for what should be a predictable expense. I want to make it clear that Carlos is fantastic. He is professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and does an excellent job. My frustration is not with him at all—it is with the company’s pricing practices. Unfortunately, my experience with the company itself has been very disappointing. There are plenty of other storage facilities that offer fair pricing without imposing such extreme rate increases only a few months after you move in. Had I known this was how they operated, I would have taken more time to shop around and compare other options. Do your research, read the fine print, and don’t make the same mistake I did. The advertised rate may look great at first, but be prepared for a significant increase shortly afterward.

  I would strongly encourage anyone considering this storage facility to do their research before signing up. They lure you in with what appears to be a competitive rate, only to significantly increase your monthly payment a few months later. In my case, after just four months, my rate increased by $80 per month. That's a substantial jump in such a short period of time and something I wish I had known beforehand. I want to be fair and give credit where it's due—Carlos has been absolutely amazing throughout my experience. He is professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely excellent at his job. This review is not a reflection of him whatsoever. My disappointment is with the company's pricing practices. There are plenty of other storage facilities available that offer more stable rates and don't hit customers with such aggressive price increases after only a few months. Had I known this would happen, I would have shopped around more carefully and likely chosen a different option. If you think speaking with upper management will get you anywhere, don’t waste your time with that either, they just tell you that increases like this after 4 months are normal and it’s just part of what they do and that they very rarely have people leave because of it so they will keep doing it. Learn from my mistake: compare rates, read the fine print, and consider other facilities before committing.
