  Abysmal customer service. I do not appreciate being questioned so rudely by Ann/Anne in paint as to why I needed to return 4 cans of paint. Our contractor gave us the wrong info, that’s not my fault. You have a 30 day return policy, CONFIRMED BY ANN(E) when I bought it FROM HER. Is she Ann(e) Lowe or something? Sorry I made her do her job. I live in the area and Lowe’s was always convenient. Next time I’ll just go to Home Depot or Robinson’s or Phillip’s or the Delmar Sherman Williams if I need paint.

  Brought in several li-ion batteries/charge packs that were no longer being used. Woman at customer service refused to take any of them because they didn't say 'rechargeable' on them. EVERYTHING IS RECHARGEABLE THESE DAYS!! And the grumpy old 'security' guard hanging around the service desk was just comical. Half the store is locked up in cages now anyways. If it wasn't for convenience I'd shop at Home Depot every single time. Miserable experience here!

  DO NOT TRUST LOWES TO DO WHAT THEY SAY - My elderly mother purchased a replacement portable dishwasher from Lowes at the beginning of August, WITH DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, and REMOVAL of the old unit. She even has a Lowes card. She has had nothing but issues and runaround and it STILL ISN'T INSTALLED and functional yet. It was delivered in the box and left in the middle of her kitchen. They didn't remove the old one at that time or install the new one. The gentlemen told her they were just delivery only. Many calls by her to Lowes for resolution resulted in me removing the old unit form it's location and putting it on the porch for removal pickup which finally happened after more calls. TWO different installers that came to her house and haven't done anything because the hose is too short? Aren't these folks supposed to have the knowledge, parts, and equipment to install these products? She PAID for it and over 2 months later it sits USELESS AND NON-FUNCTIONAL in her kitchen. Lowes doesn't return calls like they say they will do. I am not impressed with the lack of care and customer service given to my elderly parents, not to mention the stress and frustration they have gone through. This is unacceptable treatment of the elderly, let alone any customer. I am looking for a complete resolution for them, and will work on one of Lowes doesn't make this right. As of 10/5 - Lowe's has ordered a replacement dishwasher(the one delivered has a broken wheel) for delivery 10/13. Install will be scheduled for 10/14 - when they call to schedule this week. We will see how this goes.

  Terrible customer service. I had been planning a fall garden for a whille. I called ahead and was told the garden center was open and had what I needed. I took the afternoon off from work, drove down to the store, only to find the garden center locked, and things piled up inside the gates barricading them like they never intended to open again. The lights were off and not a soul around. Oddly all the plants, bushes and trees were still out in the parking lot. I tried calling the store and could not get through to anyone. I gave up and went to a competitor who was open, staffed and helped me find everything I needed.

  I ordered a dishwasher through Lowe's. They hired a third party contractor to deliver and install the dishwasher. During the course of installation, the contractor damaged the wood floor directly in front of the dishwasher. I took photos and reported it to Lowe's. The contractor came back to assess the damage, and concluded that they did not cause the damage. I attempted to escalate this with Lowe's. But Lowe's said unless I can provide a video of the contractor causing the damage, they cannot do anything about this. All future Lowe's customers should be aware of the burden of proof with Lowe's installation lies with the customer, and namely, that you should be videotaping the entire installation to protect yourself. Otherwise, Lowe's will decline to take responsiblity for any damage caused by their contractors.
