- BBBeverly Bruin5 days ago5.0Today I visited Scratch & Dent in Farmingdale after having about 3 prevous phone conversations with a consultant named Matthew Tunon. This gentleman was professional, kind, knowledgeable & patient as I asked my million and one questions. He additionally took the time to not just give me quotes but sent links regarding EVERY stove I had interest in, refurbished & scratch & Dent. I was so pleased I was willing to now come to the store but ONLY when he was there to assure that the positive experience I had with him maintained. It only got better in person. I could now lay eyes on what he sent as links, & have the family discussion while there as he worked with me and the price. I left more than satisfied with a fully loaded scratch & dent stove, a 5yr warranty plan, delivery and priced with ease. Mat is a true attribute to the quality service Red Appliance offers to their customers. All praises to Mat!!
- CGChristina GreyOct 6, 20261.0DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! They sold us a stove with EVERY SINGLE BURNER leaking gas and are now refusing to come out and fix it. Apparently once they have your money, customer safety is no longer their problem. Zero accountability and absolutely disgraceful customer service.
- JGJustin GreyOct 6, 20261.0Do not buy anything from Reds. I purchased a gas range from Reds in July. The range remained unused until October, when it was hooked up and inspected by Paraco. During that inspection, Paraco determined that the range was leaking gas into our home and shut the gas off because it was unsafe to use. After contacting Reds, they refused to fix the appliance or stand behind what they sold me. What was especially frustrating was being told by a Reds representative that if the range had been broken in July, “it wouldn’t have worked.” That explanation makes absolutely no sense considering the range was not actually used and inspected until October, which is when the gas leak was discovered. This is a gas appliance leaking into someone’s home. This is not a minor cosmetic issue or normal wear and tear. It is a serious safety concern, and I expected the company that sold the appliance to take responsibility for it. The prices may seem cheap, but it can end up costing you significantly more when something goes wrong and the company refuses to stand behind what it sells. I will update this review as I receive any additional response from Reds.

I had come in the next day and purchased the washer/dryer combo with an extended warranty. Red’s appliance has such a large inventory, i was shocked! Thank you so much Karen for my laundry washer/dryer stackable laundry set even offering white glove delivery with no hassle at all!!
