Josh was very professional, arrived on time, sprayed and checked outside the whole circumference of my house and then placed a special product in my kitchen and bathroom to combat the ants. He even took the time to show me how to correctly fold the insect catching boxes. I appreciate this service so much.

Rescheduled appointment worked out great, the technician was friendly and professional and did a very thorough job. We did decline interior work because we haven't had any issues but it was offered

Robin is the best, he takes his time and listens to exactly what I need him to pay special attention to each time. Super courteous and friendly. Overall, I notice a big difference in ants on our deck, bugs in the house, and spiders in the basement(most important!).

We were so glad the day your salesperson came to our door. Your salesperson had such a great personality I invited him in and I could tell he was telling the truth about what your company offered. We have so many wild animals coming in our yard our last 4 dogs got Lyme Disease. So I treated them with the tick medicine to be safe and after treating our one Yorkie she became so sick from the medicine we had to put her down. Our 2 dogs we never let go in our yard.
I do want to say Sarah came Saturday and did a FANTASTIC Job and hoping we get have her again because she had a fantastic personality and really got every area of our house and a pleasure to deal with. She got every spider web and just went to town hitting every inch off the outside. Next we will talk about the inside of our house.
Since the first visit this is first year ever we don’t have those little ant invading our house so what ever you use has kept or house ant Free for the first time ever.
I like you offer how many months you want to sign up for and a know high pressure salesperson.
All I can say is if you have ticks and I think everybody has stop wasting your money trying to do what these professionals do and be able to enjoy a bug Free home and yard. I would hire them again in a second.
So I would call and meet the salesperson with no pressure to hire them because after one visit we’ve noticed a Huge difference.
But please send Sarah again to maintain our home. I hope people try your service and you’re local.
We give you 10 Stars with just 2 visits.
Thank You
Jim Hildreth

Frequently Asked Questions About Aptive Pest Control
What is Aptive Pest Control?
Founded in 2015, Aptive is a rapidly growing pest control company that has offices throughout North America. Aptive provides residential pest control services to customers in more than 3,700 cities across North America. Aptive is also a committed partner with the United Nations’ United to Beat Malaria campaign to help stop the spread of malaria.
What does Aptive Pest Control do?
Aptive offers year-round pest control services for a range of insects and invasive species., including wasps, ants, scorpions, spiders, crickets, fleas, cockroaches, mice, rats, silverfish, earwigs, slugs, and snails.
Is Aptive pest control safe?
Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Aptive uses EPA approved products and follows all guidelines for the appropriate use of the products. Aptive is also a member of the EPA’s Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, a program that engages communities in building awareness and reducing pesticide risk.
What pests do you treat?
Aptive treats common pests like ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, snails, flies, fleas, and ticks. Aptive recently started providing Termite Protection in the Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus areas. Aptive otherwise does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites, carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
