Application by technician was a positive experience. However the signing up for service was and still is a debacle. The contract submission was put through incorrectly. Salesman, even though very nice needed to write up three times. End result was the one submitted was an incorrect one. I was supposed to be signing a basic plan with a 4 application program. I inquired several times and was assured that the one I was signing was the correct one. Turns out it was not. I tracked the salesman down in the neighborhood and he texted someone and it supposedly will be corrected. I have not received anything communicating that correction. Please correct and notify me.

We are so glad Vaughn rang our bell and signed us up with Aptive. Vaughn is so friendly, so knowledgeable and showed pictures videos of their work and explained everything so well. We are so happy with service provided by Jordan who came to spray outdoors and indoors. Did such thorough job! We highly appreciate it!

DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS — THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT STARTS.
I used Aptive Environmental for our home in Westhampton, and the experience was unacceptable from the first appointment.
On 6/15/2026, they showed up roughly two hours late for the initial service. The service was supposed to include both interior and exterior treatment, but they only completed the exterior. The interior was important because we specifically needed ant removal in the walls, and this delayed construction at the house.
They then canceled the follow-up appointment we had been waiting on. After we escalated and got a supervisor involved, someone eventually came back, looked around, said he would have to come back again, and performed no service.
At that point, the decision was obvious. What starts poorly usually ends poorly, so we attempted to cancel.
That is where the runaround started. The account is under my name, but my wife’s phone number was associated with it. I was told my wife needed to call because the phone number was hers. When she called, she was told I needed to call because the account was under my name. So no one would actually process or discuss the cancellation in a straightforward way.
The initial service was incomplete, the scheduling was unreliable, the follow-up visit accomplished nothing, and support made cancellation unnecessarily difficult. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Aptive.

The worst and dumbest company ever. First, I had ro listen to their "technician's" crazy pro-Trump diatribe and then reminded him to do both inside and outside the house - as if he didn't know. The next tech (they never send the same one) had personal issues I had to listen to. Winter came and I faced a personal tragedy so when I tried to cancel, they charged me $200 fee. After numerous phone calls, I was put in touch with customer service who knew nothing and could not or would not help (if they want $200 they should get rid of the customer service department). I tell everyone to avoid this bunch of clowns and use a fly swatter instead of them.

Too early to give an honest review since yesterday I I only signed up yesterday with Alex and only two hours later Sicilo came to do the first treatment for mosquitos, gnats, ants, ticks, camel crickets, wasps, great white sharks, sabre toothed tigers, Iranian Revolutionary Guards and other nefarious creatures. Too soon to tell but Sicilo the application tech was very accommodating. The Aptive application was much faster than when I do it with the the mosquito control bottle that hooks to a hose. I know that method works so it will be very curious to see how a ten - fifteen minute method works. The boys and girls from Provo UT have a very polished sales pitch and very pleasant sales and service team so now we will have to wait for results. I hope it’s effective because who wants Lyme Disease or Alpha-GAL syndrome! To be cont’d. . .

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
