  When I initially spoke with the sales agent, he completely misrepresented the contract terms and the actual pricing. I was asked to sign a form simply giving the team permission to come onto my property. The agent withheld the full pricing and contract information until after I had already signed that permission form. I am now being billed $102 a month for a service that is completely ineffective. Despite paying this premium, mosquitoes are still swarming out in the open and gathering right near my doors.

  I would not recommend this company based on my experience. We were told they were already servicing our neighbors, but after speaking with the neighbors, that did not appear to be true. We believed we were agreeing to a one-time service, not an ongoing plan. What made the situation worse was an employee suggesting that we “couldn’t afford it.” This has nothing to do with money. It’s about being signed up for a service we did not believe we agreed to. We have Ring camera footage from the original visit and conversation. Very disappointing experience, and we will not be using this company again.

  Amazing customer service great prices I called mosquito joe they told me the ai assistant told me they don't do outdoor flea treatment so I called aptive I spoke to two humans who heard my problem and gave me solutions great prices and kindness and the cherry on top mosquito joe called back and told me the ai assistant messed up and misinformed me I told them I already scheduled an appointment with another company with great customer service

  They got rid of my problem but I didn't like that I had to sign a 12-month contract when bugs were not an issue over the winter. It was also very aggravating trying to coordinate a time to meet them at the house every month so that they were able to treat the inside. I would call ahead to get a window of time when they would arrive and still had to have them come back a few times to treat the inside because they didn't bother to knock on the door when they came. Yesterday I purposely stayed home from work so I would be here to have them treat the inside of the house and I received a text at 6:45 a.m. telling me he was on his way. He never bothered to knock on the door and left before I even opened my eyes. Again I had to make him come back to treat the inside and then I canceled my service with Aptive. The workers are all very respectful and seem to do a thorough job although the liquid that they put down all around my house was not just sprayed on the floors but also along the bottom of furniture and left a residue that I then had to go and clean up after they left. Other times a white powder was sprinkled along the walls of each room which I also had to clean up after the fact. Again, the treatment worked but I don't feel it was worth the aggravation or the hassle to get them here.

  ***I'm adjusting my initial one-star rating to 3 because it was never about their actual service at my house but it was more about the way their customer service rep treated me. I'm glad to see that in the end after some escalation the people that got involved decided to take care of the matter quickly and painlessly without causing me to have to call back again sit on hold and talk to multiple people. In the end their Social Media Team did the right thing!!! ________ I trusted that your services will help ensure that I would not have mosquitoes for my son's birthday barbecue in August but it did not work out that way. My guests ended up being uncomfortable later on in the evening as they were in multiple times by mosquitoes. My youngest son had a hard time sleeping as he was so uncomfortable after playing in the grass and then being bitten on his legs. I understand that things happen, my real issue comes from customer service and how they are handling my decision to cancel. They are telling me that The increased activity is a good thing? Who wants to hear that after trusting a service and having your barbecue ruined because it didn't work. The reps are demanding I pay a cancellation fee for a product that did not work. She told me that she has no access to the manager or the salesperson who told me that there would be no cancellation fee if I had an issue with the service. After an hour with different people the woman on the Supervisor line said the best she could do was one "free" application and then continuing the service for 12 months.... I did ask for the owner or manager to call or reach out to me.. I'm not sure if she will pass that message along because she hung up.
