  I went in for a dress zipper that was getting stuck on the track. After getting it back for what they wrote was a "minor repair", the zipper itself came clean off - it looks like there was maybe some incision made? I tried to gently pull on the remainder of the zipper to see if it will go down the track if I were to replace the zipper head, and it is now even more stuck than before. It would have been better off had I not gone in for the repair at all.

  Don’t get anything tailored here!! I took a pair of men’s slacks in to be hemmed. When I picked them up, they looked awful; stitching was uneven and bunched up. I complained and was told they’d redo. When I picked them up a few days later, they weren’t any better. When I complained, the girl at the desk just shrugged and offered me my money back, which I accepted. She said their machine didn’t work well with the stitching and fabric. Really?? They could have told me that before they ruined my new slacks. I asked who I could complain to and was told the owner did the tailoring. Unfortunately, the owner clearly doesn’t have the skills it takes to provide a quality service, should recognize that, and hire someone to do the tailoring or not offer it at all and stick to dry cleaning. His work on my slacks looks like someone who is just learning! I’ve seen several other complaints about inferior alterations done at Star Cleaners; just wish I’d researched first. Poor workmanship and shouldn’t be in the tailoring business. I’ll never take anything to Star Cleaners again.

  I've experienced nothing but top notch service from this Cleaner. I've used them numerous times and have nothing but praise for them, my suits and dress shirts have always been cleaned well and always ready by the date promised. Andrew Ash
