Please cancel our arrangement. Your salesman promised to do the whole back yard and your techs said it was not included in that price that he gave so. Do not come as we will not pay you.

Our experience started with a knock on the door from Brayden who was walking the neighborhood speaking to other clients. He was respectful and very kind. He took the time to clearly explain the company, the purpose of his visit, and what he could offer. Coincidentally, at the time of his visit, we were dealing with a wicked yellowjacket issue. He set us up for a treatment and 4 hours later a tech arrived to work on the issue. Jordan, the tech, was equally as kind and pleasant. He explained the work he’d be doing, and did a great job. The yellowjackets were taken care of (knock on wood) and no mess from spraying was left. A great experience!

We have just started, so the stars will hopefully increase.
The sales person relayed information that the service person didn't do or even understand what I was talking about when I replied to her service inquiry. We happen to have dogs, which the service person likely didn't know, but the gate was left open. Whether known or not, I think leave things the way you found them.

I don't review often, and I certainly do not get a thrill out of reviewing negatively, but my experience pertains to safety so I wanted to put it here.
Good things:
-Salesman was not an arrogant person
-Technician showed up on time and notified me when he got there. Signed up the day prior and they came the next morning at 9:30
Bad things:
-Technician was there for a bit under 15 mins and at one point I saw him walking around with only a tiny spray bottle. I was also told the work being done would include rodent deterrents or another spray, but I didn't see any traps around my house after or I can't imagine he accomplished spraying for all of the claimed purposes in under 15 mins.
-Although not an arrogant person, the salesman certainly had been trained in the dark arts of sycophancy. Gave a few good discounts and used sly sales tactics to glide past some red flags found later in the contract.
-I brought up to the rep that I would be having a birthday party for my three year old son the following day and would obviously like to know if the chemicals they use create any stir in the insects around my house. He assured me no and that they could come by first thing in the morning to perform the service. I agreed thinking it would be good to get this accomplished in order to improve the comfort of my guests. Unfortunately, a yellowjacket's nest in the ground seemed pretty pissed off by something and stung four people (two kids, two adults) during our party, including myself right above my eye. We have parties often that span the entire property, therefore, a traveling queen creating new nests is probably not surprising at my home. We are aware there are various types of insects around our yard, but have never had a problem to this degree ever in the time we've lived there until the one being referenced here.
I can't definitively prove Aptive's chemicals caused this, but Aptive's chemicals are the only different variable present on this day, therefore, I really have no other choice but to place my blame here and discontinue. There is a section in the contract that allowed me to slip out of it within three business days of signing up, so that's what I did (after requesting it five times from the person on the phone). I also have not seen a noticeable reduction in the other bugs around my house as well, so there's that.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
