  Storage Post is a great facility my customer service rep Helana, was excellent. Helena fully explained everything, showd me the different options, the prices were reasonable and was extremely helpful. Glad I came to Storage Post.

  Moving in was easy, They were packed one day and I noticed they were still hospitable with all the customer. I opted to come back another day due to how packed it was. When I came back Helena gave me a tour and helped me lock a unit in. Service was great here. The parking so far has been a bit hard, possibly due not the season.

  We were looking for a large locker space and Helena was an excellent host in showing us around and explaining the details. We decided on the 5x10 and she got us in and out super fast after signing us up. Also, the main freight elevator got a huge upgrade. It’s super nice compared to the old one. Highly recommend Storage Post and working with Helena.

  Egh this is a summary of four years at this place, excuse the length. I’ve been a loyal customer with 2 units. In some ways they are the best storage place in the area, but this comes at a cost as well as some not-so-insignificant frustrations. And unfortunately my latest bad experience is causing me to leave despite me trying to rectify at least 3x. I’m reviewing the main load-in on Grand. THE GOOD: 2 large loading docks. 2–3 elevators, explained later. The main elevator, while very dysfunctional and slow, is huge unlike most places. Very recently they reopened access to the 2nd large elevator in the main dock, which had frustratingly been used as a janitor’s closet for years. This is a major improvement considering the issues explained below. They also let you pay in advance, which, last I heard, locks in your price. Finally, a birdie told me if you operate a business, 24/7 access is possibly on the table if you play the right cards. This is what kept me for so long, considering Brooklyn still operates on Covid hours. THE BAD: The main large elevator is broken and slow. From the dock, you enter your code, select your floor, and hold Door Close ▶|◀ for 20 seconds no less, otherwise the door opens back up and you start over. Once the doors close, the elevator heads the opposite direction of the floor you selected. It saunters down to the basement, stops, opens the doors ALL THE WAY, in slow motion, and sits there waiting for you to press ▶|◀. 25 seconds later it lurches upward and comes to a halt, right where you started on the main level. Repeat until you get lucky. The trick to beating this is to, after entering pin, immediately and simultaneously spam your floor button and hold ▶|◀. Do this until you reach destination as it can and will randomly go back down to basement. You can imagine the frustration this causes while staring at the other unused elevator-closet while waiting for people to fumble through this and or holding it on their floor. Also, the dock height is really only suitable for large semi-trailers. Finally, LOYALTY: Terrible. Long story short: I needed to upgrade to a larger unit. They quoted me a price that I was satisfied with and I made it very clear that I was going to book it, but had a question for the manager, who wasn’t around that day. They said they were putting me in touch and I would hear from them, implicitly on that same day. I didn’t hear back until the next day, and by then they would not honor the price I thought they were holding for me. It literally DOUBLED. I actively tried to rectify the situation two times after that discussion and nobody cares. Every other place lets you reserve for up to a week but that's beyond the point. Really frustrated over this and moving my stuff to iStoreGreen, which has the same size unit currently listed for half the price Storage Post is now asking.
