I checked into #6 location and waited 1hr and 16mins. I called the store due to I’m a disabled veteran and had a sleeping baby in the car. The supervising associate Melissa, stated they never received a check in notification and that she also couldn’t locate my order based on my phone number. Once I provided the order number, she was able to locate my order. Approximately 15mins later an associate arrived at my vehicle with my merchandise and scanned my phone. At this point, I realized that I had ordered the incorrect size plant holder and respectfully requested that she exchange my 15cm plant holders for 15inch plant holders due to the baby sleeping and the inconvenience of waiting an hour and a half. She told that she would ask and bring me back out my receipt. The associate returned and stated that the supervisor instructed her to let me know that I can either keep the incorrect product or come inside to do a return and purchase the correct product. Upon walking inside, I witnessed the associate speaking with her Supervisor Melissa regarding my request to speak with a manager. Melissa, obviously not realizing that the customer followed her associate into the building, than stated well he wants to talk to a manager, then he can speak to someone else. My baby and I then waited patiently for approximately 5 more minutes until Supervisor Melissa returned and stated in a rude demeanor, if it’s going to be quick I can help you. I responded with no Melissa you can not help me because your check in system failed by leaving me outside for over an hour and your customer service failed by your attitude. I then asked, I would like to speak with your supervisor so I can report your poor quality of customer service, especially at a management level. Melissa than stated that her manager isn’t available to speak with me at this time and that I’d have to wait. Fortunately, a fellow supervisor from the paint department, Ben heard us talking and came over to offer his assistance. I asked Ben if he could get Melissa’s manager for me and stated that he can, however, it would be much faster if he could resolve my product issue while I waited. Ben was courteous, kind, knowledgeable and made sure that I received the correct product in a timely fashion. I was unable to wait longer to speak with a manager, however, a simple apology and a little customer service would’ve gone a long way.

Anytime I am here and need help with something I'm just told they dont have it... or employees tell me an isle that has nothing even similar to what im looking for.. if you need help finding things employees will say oh thats out of stock then u strole around the store and find pallets of the item u were just told they were out of.. comon.. let's get to know our work place a little better. Or once i was told we put it in the back, its on pallets it'll take 40 min. To an hour to get down. No real forklift operators??? Idk. Also in my most recent visit I was at the self check out waiting for help with an item, when the girl looked over at me multiple times and helped multiple people...and chatted with fellow co workers. I know she saw me i was staring at her, obviously i had been there probably 15+ min. Then another customer walked up, looking willing and able and this cashier offers if he needs help scanning his items and proceeds to scan this guys whole order meanwhile I'm waiting still. Get it together Lowe's. I get its hard to find good employees these days but im not sure how 90% of employees who work here haven't held a hammer in their life. Home depot is wayyyy better!
