  Ordered lumber for delivery. Order was incomplete. Called to rectify and shipping/fullfillment manager (Angelo) was dismissive and said I could pick-up at the store. I paid for delivery exactly so I didn't have to do that. They use third party vendors for deliveries so I'd advise not ordering anything for delivery if you want to get the exact items you ordered.

  Lowe’s installation team and process for scheduling is a nightmare. I was told 3 weeks and it’s now going on 8 weeks and now I’m told 3 weeks out to actually schedule the install. They canceled my first order without telling me then reset the clock. I am appalled at how bad the service has been from beginning to end. I have other home projects that I will not be using Lowe’s for! Thank god it’s just a door. Go somewhere else for professional installation.

  I bought my dishwasher here a few years ago and had nothing but trouble getting Lowe's to bother scheduling the installation, though they sure had no problem charging me first. My wife and I now bought a window and it's the same thing - they drag their feet, charge first and then you can't count on them to actually do the job. Today the installer, "Jason", was supposed to arrive between 1 and 4 - already unacceptably late - and claims to have run into trouble on another job and can no longer even confirm he'll bother coming today at all. This same guy "Jason" rescheduled multiple times and had lots of excuses causing significant delays in the measuring phase. We're not retired or able to just choose to be home on a weekday during work hours easily, so the overall lack of professionalism and basic adult competence is glaring and carries a lot of hassle for us. Don't buy from Lowe's if you want to actually receive your purchase or basic service as a person would expect - Lowe's isn't interested in providing it.

  Have gotten many supplies and appliances there over the years. An associate got delivery instructions wrong and the appliance was going to be delivered at the exact time that no one was going to be home (the work order the delivery truck showed me specified the exact incorrect time). I understand that mistakes happen, but it was not my mistake, it was theirs. When I called to try to get help with fixing this, the manager told me that there really was nothing that could be done. I explained my issue and why it was a problem and I got a dismissive sorry, but there really isn't anything that can be done. He said he would send an email to the delivery company and maybe they could help, but he doubted it. He promised to call me back and update me one way or another. He never bothered to call me back. Thankfully, the delivery guys on the truck were extremely helpful and when they called to tell me that they were on their way and I explained the confusion, they altered their dropoff to come by later when I would be home. So, the delivery team was extremely helpful. The store manager and two associates that I spoke to apologized, but couldn't/wouldn't help me... Even though it was clearly their mistake. I will be shopping exclusively at home Depot from now on, I ordered a lawnmower from them last year, there was an issue and the department manager from the local store came to my house and looked at it! And I couldn't even get a Lowe's manager to help me with a mistake on their end (or even call me back as promised). Lesson learned... Good selection and decent prices, but they won't help you, even when their store caused the issue.

  We went there on a Sunday and purchased a brand new John Deere riding lawn mower$2,500 they could not deliver for four more days we waited the four days and the lawn mower was delivered getting it off of the delivery truck I asked the gentleman did they already fill it with oil and he said yes it was assembled at Lowe's over the four days and they left I checked the oil and he was correct it was full and super clean I filled the gas tank with gas and I was excited about using it and cutting my lawn after getting on the machine and trying to start it come to find out the machine was dead and would not start believe it is the battery has the LED headlights and everything are not working called Lowe's and after dealing with their impossible automated system was directed to the assistant manager instead of just sending somebody out with a new battery they wanted to pick up the riding lawn mower bring it back to Lowe's and send a brand new one again they admitted that they did not try to start it before it left the store for delivery I feel that is just incompetence on their part I reached out to corporate which was not much more help but they did agree to knock $100 off of the price which is appreciated they were going to get ahold of the store in Amherst and ask them to please expediate getting a new riding lawn mower to me after about an hour Lowe's again called me on the phone and informed me they did not have any more John Deere lawn mowers in that series I asked them if they checked any of the other laws in the area which I was told they did not which only seems to be common sense is to look around for another one in order to make the customer complete and happy that did not happen about 30 minutes later Lowe's called me again the same person every time and said that landpro which is the local John Deere dealership in the area was going to come to the house and swap out the batteries and that I should call them upon calling them they acted like they knew nothing about it and wanted to know who was going to pay them and I informed them that I was not going to pay them as I just bought this machine it had never even been started and I only had it for about 1 hour after a little bit of confusion land pro service department did have a conversation with Lowe's they are going to come and pick up the machine at the house take it to their shop put a new battery in it and bring the machine back which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever I said can you not just bring a new battery with you and swap it out and I was told that all warranty work has to be done in the shop I arranged with landfall for them to come tomorrow to get the machine and to take care of it I feel is an absolute horrible after the purchase service on Lowe's part that they pawn their problem that they caused onto land pro under warranty if they would have just started the machine when they assembled it and put oil in it and check the air in the tires we would not be having this problem right now lowest did not seem to want to help and as it went on they became less and less interested in helping they have lost a customer permanently I am sure they do not care about that the only thing I can do is warn the public to buyer beware it's not always just the purchase sometimes it is also after the purchase service that means a lot
