The carpet cleaner they rented to us was filthy and spit out a bunch of crap that made my rug dirtier. It smelled so rancid. When we returned it for a refund, the sales folks could not have cared less. They issued a refund and told us they don't clean or check the rentals, they expect the previous user to clean it, and if they don't, that's the next customers problem. Funny thing is when we rented it they never told us to clean it, so they KNOW they don't get cleaned. Hauling this nasty huge thing in and out of our home when it didn't even work was a waste of our time when we're already busy moving. We showed them a video of the cleaner making the rug dirtier even dirtier and they looked so zoned out. I tried calling Lowe's customer service but I was on hold for 35 minutes so I gave up.
The staff seem miserable. Luckily, we're closer to Aces Hardware now so we won't have to deal with Lowe's anymore. Good luck to everyone else.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
