Purchased over 400$ worth of tools, some tools I didn’t need once I realized after I got home. Went the next day to Exchange/refund them for a Different item I saw that was on sale.
I Have my Receipt but I was REFUSED to do the return/exchange or store Credit by The Assistant Store Manager Andy, After he initially gave the approval over the phone with the Cashier.
After Andy made the approval to override the return he looked at the cameras and saw who possibly was doing the return, and ran up to the front (customer service desk) yelling No No No we’re not going to do the Over ride for the return.
Without any explanation he just keep Saying No No No it’s company policy, but the cashier mention that it’s up to their discretion on if the manager wants to over ride the return/exchange.
I HAVE MY RECEIPT in hand!!!!!
All I asked was if I can either get Store Credit/ or a Gift card.. I MADE IT CLEAR THAT I DO NOT WANT ANY CASH BACK!!!
Andy The assistant manager is Very Rude and Unprofessional. He Basically was judging me, because he mentioned that there’s been a lot of theft going on so I assume that’s why he’s Not doing the over ride so I can get store credit.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. I have been waiting for over 20 minutes just to buy a can of spray paint because the product is locked behind a cabinet and apparently nobody has access to open it.
One of the employees walked by, so I asked for help. He said he would look for someone, but then I was told that they didn’t even have the key. How is it possible for a store to have products locked up and not have an employee available with the key to access them?
If Lowe’s does not have enough staff to assist customers, then they need to find a better solution. Either have the appropriate employees equipped with the keys or stop locking up products that customers need to purchase themselves.
I have now wasted over 20 minutes standing around waiting for someone to do something that should take less than a minute. I came here to buy one simple product, not spend my time standing in front of a locked cabinet hoping someone eventually shows up.
This is incredibly frustrating and completely unacceptable customer service. A store this large should be able to handle something as basic as unlocking a product for a paying customer. Very disappointing and a huge waste of time.

I showed up to Lowe’s this morning around 8 a.m. to pick up welding wire. I went to a cashier named Robert. The bill was around $34 and some change. I was short on bills, so I gave Robert close to $5 in change. From the moment I spoke to Robert, he treated me kindly and with respect. He was also patient as I counted out all the change to him. Thank you, Robert, for your exceptional customer service.

The store was nice overall, staff are friendly and efficient but the restroom could use more frequent checks and cleaning. It would be great if staff could inspect the restroom regularly to keep it clean and well maintained.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
