Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

Celeste in the garden section needs further customer service training. She is a serious liability to your company and store, and her actions today will single handedly ensure I will not be coming back to your store. From complaining about being put in the garden section by her management (how unprofessional) in our initial interaction, to complaining about me not putting my card phone number in to another 3rd part customer that was behind me in line, ( I am a rewards member by the way) to refusing to just ring me up after arguing about a promo, where your store mistakenly had signage on the wrong bug spray, she was a disaster to interact with. I almost left my cart right there in the garden section and left, but on my way out, she said (I don't care, someone else will buy these items). That flabbergasted me, so I grabbed my cart went to self checkout, asked to speak to a manager, but the lady in the front couldn't get one fast enough for my liking.
All in all I'm not sure if this will reach the right people, but I encourage you to reprimand your employee, as I'm sure she has had other negative feedback about her. Place her into some serious training modules. What a terrible representative of your company.
I come to Lowes over Home Depot because of your customer service, but I will unfortunately have to go back to the competition due to this incident.

What a pleasant gentleman named
Salvatore in the key cutting department.
We were there to get a car key cut, but there were no keys with the correct code.
But Salvatore took the time to look thru the
2 draws and a entire box, but no luck.
He mentioned that the key jumped out of the box. So he went out of his way and found us walking out to the car.
He was waving the key at us and we went back nto the store and got our key cut.
This was our 3rd location.
What a class act!!
He was so nice and I would recommend this location to have your keys cut.
Just ask for Salvatore!!!
