I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at this Extra Space Storage facility. When I initially signed up, the rate seemed reasonable, but it has become clear that this is a classic "bait-and-switch" operation.
Within 12 months of moving my belongings in, my rent has been increased by over $150. It feels like they intentionally lure you in with low "introductory" rates, knowing full well they plan to hike the price significantly once your items are already packed away and moving them out becomes a massive logistical and financial burden.
It is frustrating to see that they continue to advertise much lower rates for new customers while long-term tenants are squeezed with these sudden, predatory spikes. There is zero transparency regarding how or when these increases occur, and when I reached out to discuss the issue, I was met with scripted excuses rather than any real attempt to resolve the situation.
I feel trapped, and I regret choosing this company. If you are looking for long-term, stable storage, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This is not a business model built on customer service; it is built on exploiting the fact that moving your property is difficult and expensive. Save yourself the headache and go with a more honest provider

I was given such specific directions on how everything was going to work and where I needed to go right at the start. Very helpful lady at the main desk.
My only issue was I couldn't get the app to work because of poor reception with my provider in that area, nothing to do with this company.
Nice temperature control to keep things safe as well. They provide rolling carts to take your stuff onto the elevator to the 2nd floor conveniently located at the main entrance to the inside unit locations.

You have quite a maze going on, with very poor signage. That being said, I pulled the green zip tie off and it broke in the door. The door kept jamming and it took 5 tries to get it closed. Your guy Terry was very helpful, struggled with it, returned with some tools and finally got the zip tie out. He was very helpful and kind. Nice guy.

During a stressful time of moving and all the things that come with that, the process was extremely easy and quick. Lauren was awesome. She welcomed us with a smile. We did some research online before going so we shared with her what we thought was ideal. She took us directly to the unit and it was perfect for our needs. She gave us a tour of the building and showed us the best way for us to enter and exit. The experience was great and we are very pleased with our decision to rent from Extra Storage Space! Thank you Lauren for making this the easiest part of moving!
