Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

I ordered garden soil and went to pick it up. I had my husbands brand new 2025 truck. They tried to load it with a fork lift and scratched the heck out of his tail gate and began ripping off the trim. 3 employees and not a single one said I’m sorry. Just told me to come back with a bigger vehicle.
So I went home to unload and had to go back to get the rest. On my way back they called and told me they gave me the wrong rebar and to bring it back mind you I live 30 minutes away so I had to turn back around to go get the rebar so that I could get the correct one that I had ordered.
I was told by the loaders to speak to the manager Rae Donovan. So when I went in, I asked for her and she was helping someone cool. I was willing to wait. Next thing. I know the assistant manager Dale came up and told me he could help me. I explained to him what happened he told me OK let’s go take a look at the truck when we got out there. He literally started busting up laughing and said this is what trucks look like that are hauling dirt. First of all maybe that’s what his truck looks like but I just paid 55k for this truck so we take care of it. Hauling dirt isn’t a normal thing. We are planting a garden. I couldn’t even believe that he was laughing the way he was laughing basically said he couldn’t help me and to call corporate.
Still after speaking to 5 people not a single I’m sorry this happened.

Bought a new American Standard toilet from the store and paid for delivery (who showed up with the box on end on a hand truck they plopped down on my garage floor). The Lowes associate told me to get a licensed plumber to install it as Lowe's charges way too much. Plumber came and swapped out the toilet and the moment he turned on the water, the tank leaked all over the floor from a hairline crack. Lowe's doesn't replace the tanks and since it was "installed" they will not replace it. My only option was to pay the plumber to now put the old one back in and I have to deal with American Standard's support to see about warranty/replacement. THEN I get to pay the plumber a 3rd time to install another one. I'm so done with Lowes. What should have been a simple install or a simple swap for a damaged item will now set me back over a $1000 and a couple weeks waiting, that's if AS will even warranty the damn thing.
