Not a fan. The pests haven’t died, they’ve actually gotten worse. We’ve had them for about 2 months with about 4 treatments. Nothing has died. In fact, I had one ant pile before. Now they are everywhere. I have scorpions all over my house, my crawling baby has been bitten/stung twice..they are NOT dead. I’ve seen black widows, and stink bugs, and ants. I moved an outdoor trash can this week and those water roaches came rushing out…how can that be? They’ve been sprayed 4 times in 2 months. 🤷‍♀️ I guess we will see.

The young man who came to talk to me about the company and what chemicals it used was Very well spoken and convincing. He provided a really solid explanation. Additionally the young man who came to do the service was very cordial and well mannered and he seemed to be extremely thorough. I was able to sit outside last evening and was not mauled by the mosquitoes and so far today I have not been bothered except by one.

The sales people of this business have no regard for no soliciting or no trespassing signs or even Gates! They just walk right in. They act like they didn't see signs and continue straight into their sales pitch. Even after we point out the sign, they still try to sell you their services. They're very aggressive and super disrespectful if you call them out. We already have an awesome pest control and they charge us less than what these people wanted to charge us.

Andrew Burman sold us on what sounded like an exceptional local pest control service: effective treatments, consistent technicians, responsive support, and competitive pricing. Based on those promises, we signed a 12-month contract in May. Unfortunately, the reality has been the exact opposite. After three service visits, our pest problems were worse than before. We found cockroaches, including egg-carrying roaches on the exterior stucco, and mosquitoes throughout the house, which was the primary reason we switched providers in the first place. We were assured that the same technician would service our home each visit because we value security and consistency. Instead, a different person showed up every time. On the final appointment, which was already a rescheduled visit due to ongoing pest issues, the technician waited until 5:00 PM to tell us he was on his way, despite knowing we needed to be home for the treatment. When we explained the timing would not work, we were sent a broken rescheduling link and left to start the process all over again. The product itself is marketed as plant-based, but in our experience it had little to no effect on the pests we were trying to eliminate. Even more frustrating was the customer service. Whenever we attempted to reach someone locally, we were routed to an overseas call center. Canceling the service felt less like customer support and more like a retention script, with repeated attempts to lower the price rather than address the actual issues. What stands out most is the gap between the sales pitch and the service delivered. A company can have great marketing and extensive training programs, but none of that matters if technicians are inconsistent, communication is poor, and the treatment fails to solve the problem. My advice: stay local. Choose a company where you can call an office in your community, speak to someone who knows the area, and trust that they will stand behind their service. We did not have that experience here.

The sales person for the company came to my door and was incredibly persistent. I told him multiple times that my baby needed me and that I needed to talk to my husband before committing to anything. He was a good salesman, I’ll give him that. He did not back down and did not let me leave the conversation until I signed. I felt strong armed into signing this contract. He also lied outright to me. He told me that if I cancel before the term is up, I would just have to pay back the amount of my first visit as a cancellation fee. However, after receiving the contract to my email, the cancellation fee was much higher than that amount. He also told me a few of my neighbors signed up for Aptive recently, giving their names to sound legitimate. After signing up I talked with my neighbors and they told me they did not sign up with Aptive. I do not appreciate being lied to or coerced into signing anything. The first service was satisfactory, but then I began reading reviews here on Google of this company and they are not good. I am convinced that the first service is always good and then the services become subpar afterwards, with missed appointments and customers unable to get in touch with the company to reschedule or give feedback. I submitted my cancellation notice this morning within the 3-day window stated on my contract and that better be honored. I will not be lied to and manipulated into starting services with a dishonorable company.
