Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

At Lowe’s in Los Lunas and shopping with my dad and the sales associate Daniel in the appliance area was a total jerk and rude to my dad. We where in the process with another associate Tim and while my dad was standing getting information from the computer on a tool he needed, Daniel told my dad to move in all my dad didn’t hear him. Instead of being nice and politely say excuse me he was very rude about it. We’ll be back but won’t be asking him for help. Very disappointed…..

To the Lowes Home Improvement Owner I have read many of your responses to customer complaints stating how you care about customer service and the priority of good customer service. I have had numerous problems at this store everytime it takes calling your corporate helpline and then takes anywhere from 2 to 6 hours either on the phone or back and forth to the store to try to fix the issue or store lack of care mistake I have been a Pro Customer since May of 1992 over charged for cull lumber for the third time at this store by Jessica Dike getting charged full price for for your marked down lumber that is outside of the store marked 50% off. The last 2 times your store refused to refund the issue your corporation stole a little over $300.00 from me on those 2 transactions yesterday once again purchased cull lumber and was charged full price by Associate Jessica Dike I told her 4 times everything on the cart came off of the cull lumber pile out side of the store and that your Associate Cesar watched and helped me get it all off of the cull lumber rack that is marked 50% off yet I was still charged full price. When you ask to speak to a manager at the store they are either never available or always out to lunch, when you do finally get one they are extremely disrespectful. Today your corporate office asked while trying to get the over charge corrected if I could just drive to an Albuquerque Lowes store and do my shopping there from now on. That is a totally unacceptable responce if you actually care about customer service as a business owner. Today your store over charged me by $154 then refused to refund it accusing me of running a scam or being a theif refusing to call the employee Cesar Perez who was still in store on the clock up to customer service counter who watched and helped me pull the lumber from the cull mark down bin outside of the store. Cesar Perez is an Outstanding Employee at this store always trying to be helpful I wish I could say the same about the rest of your staff there. You have had ongoing problems at this store for the last 8 yrs that you are aware of yet no successful corrective action has been taken to correct the problems, you still employ the same employees who over charge and steal your customers hard earned money or damage merchandise while loading it then try to accuse your Customer's and Pro Customer's of being the one stealing from your corporation.
Yes after almost 4 hrs on the phone between store and corporate and hauling lumber back and forth to store loading and unloading it we finally got the issue from yesterday fixed and refunded the entire order this is unacceptable corporate practices to treat your customers this way. You have my current contact information and email on file reach out to me. As you are fully aware time is money and you cant haul lumber for free. What are you going to do to make this right? Or do you really even care? I will edit this review once this is made right and corrective action has been taken.
