I purchased 2 large portable air conditioner units weighing more than 80 pounds each. They are available in multiple sizes, however only 2 were priced on the sales floor. I was unable to find help loading them into my shopping cart. When I reached the self checkout I asked the two associates who appeared to be assigned to that area for assistance locating the barcode. Neither responded, instead they both stood there watching me awkwardly fumble with a bulky box on top of a rolling basket. I appreciate the invitation to call but I'm not looking for any direct resolution in this case.

Store is clean and organized….. employees are clueless half the time. Even if you try to page for an associate to help they don’t show. I had three people tell me they could help me find what I was looking for….. I usually prefer Lowes over Home Depot but I’ll have to pass on this location.

Very rude customer service employee that does not understand the return policy on "one coat coverage guarantee" paint. Did not care when I told her thar the 12th street store was the only one that did not honor the guarantee. Did not offer to get a manager. Please provide better training for employees or move employees that should not be at the customer service desk to a different department.

I've been going here for over a decade, because it's the closest hardware store to my house. Which makes it that much more disappointing that I have repeatedly had nothing but the worst experiences here. Constant issues that are clearly driven by poor management decisions. The store constantly feels under-staffed. Consistent issues with poorly organized tools, hardware, or items that are listed to be in one aisle, only to be located somewhere else. Here's a good one: it's late September/early October. The temps are still well in the 90's. Everyone is still running their swamp coolers. Where is the best place to put all the Halloween decorations out? That's right, just inside by the front door where all of the swamp cooler supplies are located. Sure, they do relocate some of the supplies to another aisle, however there are a lot of small parts that are missing entirely, or have been thrown into a box and put up on a high shelf, and nobody in the store can find the part you need even though the website says they have 35 of them in stock. I cannot fault the employees here at all. The issue comes from a management who only seems interested in making as much money as possible, while putting the least amount of effort as possible, and it show. Because of my own time constraints, I have repeatedly had to drive across town to the Lowe's at Corrales Rd and Alameda in order to get the one thing I need since they are also open late.
