Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

Worst curb side pick associates. Thai is now the 6th order I have canceled because they can not do curb side. I as there 45 mins check in multiple times to have Custer service tell me to just keep checking in. My order was ready yesterday!!! How the hell does none of your employees do their job. The security guard saw cars parked empty in the curb side pick up and walked right back in to the air conditioning. He was out side a total of 2 seconds. Worst service ever. Will not be using Lowe’s again.

Walking in to the 12th St. Lowe's yesterday, looking forward to my weekly shopping at what I used to consider the best home improvement store around, I immediately noticed an old, grey haired security guard with a scowl on his face. He gave me the creeps, even in his fake cop costume, adorned with a fake gold badge and a plethora of polished, plastic, gold trinkets neatly stacked on his over starched, black shirt. I said hello and he looked away, feeling eye contact was beneath him. I was determined not to let him spoil my weekly spending spree.
Fast forward to the outdoor Garden Dept. I was casually looking over their selection of trees when I heard, then saw, an altercation between a lovely looking and impeccably dressed middle aged woman holding on to her cart as the slightly hunched back, grey haired security was trying to tug it out of her hands. He kept saying "I know you are trying to steal" and "do you think I'm stupid?". I immediately thought, yes, we ALL think you're stupid. Eventually she let go of the cart and he told her to leave or he would call the actual police. By now she was crying, obviously upset and embarrassed as she hurried out of the garden gates.
I have a good friend that has been employed at this Lowe's for almost a decade. When I saw her 30 min after the altercation, I asked what it was all about. Apparently this Lowe's, (and likely every other), uses facial recognition software as part of their security apparatus. Turns out, this nasty old man had not followed standard procedure of cross referencing the FR data base and incorrectly identified an innocent lady who was likely there to buy items to start her garden for the summer.
So, beware. Lowe's has your face on file and at least one ignorant "security guard" who will exploit that information to exercise and abuse the power he "thinks" his costume justifies. Just pray that if you visit this Lowe's, you don't happen to resemble some random shoplifter or this wicked, slightly hunched back, way-beyond-the age-of-retirement security guard will accost and attack you, even if you are there casually shop and likely to drop a pretty penny.

Going to lowes on 12th st was a very peaceful and respectful place to shop. I did see this one employee named Isaac he's asked me if I needed assistance and when I did he kindly helped me out on the things I needed he's also a very hard worker and was on point by making sure the aisles were clean I surly believe that Mr Isaac needs a raise for being a hard worker.
