  My experience was wonderful! Both Richard and Nev helped me furnish an entire new apartment. They listened. They were knowledgeable. They provided guidance. The store provided a huge selection of different styles. They understood the style I was looking for…AND they were very pleasant. I would highly recommend Raymour and Flanigan in Watchung NJ. …and in particular Richard and Nev.

  Ishmael was wonderful worker. He was not pushy but was kind and helpful in finding a sofa in my price range and taste. The price was right with the Labor Day sale. I needed to reach out to Ishmael to change delivery date and he was responsive and handled the matter quickly.

  My experience with this store has been absolutely terrible. I rarely leave bad reviews, but dealing with this store has been both mentally draining and completely disgraceful. I ordered a sofa for my first apartment, and when it was delivered, everything initially seemed fine. After taking a closer look, however, I discovered damage throughout the sofa. There were chips in the legs, seams coming apart, and other quality issues. I called customer service repeatedly, but getting any help was extremely difficult. Eventually, I contacted the store directly and spoke with the store manager. He apologized and gave me a $50 gift card for my “troubles.” A pickup and replacement delivery was then scheduled. Unfortunately, on the original delivery date, I had a family emergency and could not be home. I called to reschedule and was given another delivery date. That date came and went with no delivery. When I called the following week, I was essentially told that it was my fault because I had rescheduled and disrupted their delivery schedule. I explained to the store manager how terrible the entire experience had been. His response, and I am quoting him directly, was: “It could be worse, at least you have a sofa.” That response was incredibly dismissive and showed a complete lack of empathy for what should have been a straightforward customer service issue. After that, I was asked to wait another two weeks, only to be told that the replacement piece allocated to me had been damaged in the warehouse. This happened twice, resulting in even more delays. I was eventually told that once a new shipment arrived, someone would contact me to schedule another delivery. No one called. Weeks went by, and I had to call again myself. I was told they could not help because they were unable to reach the delivery center. I was also told they could not issue me a refund because of their “no refund policy” once an item has been delivered, even when the item was delivered damaged. This has been an exhausting and incredibly frustrating experience from beginning to end. I expected better, especially when purchasing a sofa for my first apartment. 0/10 experience. I would not recommend this store based on the way this situation was handled and the complete lack of meaningful customer service.
