Lowe’s Countertop Installation Experience
This was my first time using Lowe’s for a countertop installation, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The employees in the kitchen department did not seem knowledgeable about the process and gave me an initial estimate that I felt was misleading. Afterward, I received a change order that was nearly double the original estimate.
I tried to work with the company to resolve the issue, but ultimately I had no choice but to cancel the order. Based on this experience, I would look elsewhere for future kitchen improvements and choose a company with better communication, transparency, and expertise.

We had the luck to be helped by Sales Specialist Daniel Wood at Lowe’s Voorhees in their door/ windows section. He was very helpful and assisted us and helped with selection, all with a smile on his face. Rare to come by such store assistants these days! He is a definite boon to the store! We appreciate his help a lot and also for taking care of our storage of the door as we could not take the delivery as planned. Thanks Daniel!

What a nightmare
I’ve been to the store twice today and both times they did not have what I wanted.
First, I went in to attempt to find a bolt nut and washer. Despite seeming like they have 1 million they do not have 1 million.
I found the bolts that I needed at Tractor Supply without any trouble.
I returned in the evening for another requirement. It was simply wire. There were signs that said wire cut to length.
There were no associates at all to be found. There was no phone to call to get an associate. Finally, I walked to the front and found a sales person who attempted to help me, but did not have any idea about the wire they sold for the wire that I needed. I was looking for a wire for a 12 V battery system.
I then went to try and find it in another spot. I additionally could not find any workers. Finally, I found workers in the worker area. They were just chatting away. I said, excuse me and they didn’t hear me. I stood there and waited until someone would acknowledge me.
Finally, after they were done with their conversation. They were able to listen to what I needed. They told me that it was in one section which I had already looked. I told them I had bought a battery there and I knew it used to be in that section, but that they were not there that now.
The associates wanted nothing to do with me did not help me and did not find what
I am now driving to an auto parts store.
I have tried to call customer service and I can either speak with anyone in the store or leave a message with customer service.
Just a nightmare all around

I had a great experience with the Lowe's in Voorhees today.
I was in desperate need of a specific Kitchenaid dishwasher.
I had ordered it online for store pickup.
I had showed up directly from another Lowe's in about an hour, which wasn't enough time for them to prepare the order. Cristina at the customer service desk was quick to help locate my order and help me to expedite it, as I needed it quickly to meet a deadline. Initially, we had some confusion thinking that the only unit left was the floor model. I had driven here from West Deptford for nothing!!
WRONG.
Twenty minutes later, on my way home, we received a call from a gentleman in appliances. He had searched in the back and had located the model that we were looking for. I turned around and returned to the store.
Upon arrival, Brian was standing there waiting for me at the front door with a handshake and the dishwasher....on a hand truck!
At first, he had apologized for the confusion and inconvenience.
Honestly, the way I was treated and the fact that he went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, that was thanks enough.
Minor speed bump, but I left with my problem solved.
The overall demeanor and attitude of both of these employees was incredible.
I couldn't be more happy with the outcome.Thank you to Brian and Cristina personally.
