Never ever order anything from this store. Not usually the type to write bad reviews, but this was a Kafka-style joke. I ordered 12 large bags of garden soil over TWO months ago, along with a couple of small things, to be delivered to my home. The soil never came, and the delivery “proof” picture that they emailed me (see uploaded file, their picture not mine) clearly showed that. I’m still trying to get my money back, 10 weeks later, after several frustrating chats with customer service and now a phone call from one of the store managers. Each time I’ve been told the refund was being processed and I’d get a call from someone at Lowe’s within 24 hours. Each time nothing happened so I had to reach out again. They would close my CS chats if I didn’t respond quickly enough. They would assure me it was being elevated to “critical”. Then next time, oops, it got sent to the wrong team or miscategorized or whatever. Every. Damn. Time. I have transcripts from the chats. I keep receipts.
A week ago I did this dance with them again. “So sorry, we understand your frustration, I assure you it’s being processed and you’ll see the money credited back to your payment method in a couple days, etc…” And then… nothing. No refund. No follow up phone call. Nothing but apologies and gaslighting. Every. Damn. Time.
I finally got a call back today (after a week from this last interaction, not 24 hours) for the first time. She actually asked me if the bags were under or inside the pot in the picture (see attached photo so you can see how ridiculous this is). Yes ma’am, I accidentally missed TWELVE 30 lb bags of garden soil hiding under a pot. Not to mention they already told me over and over again the refund was being processed, so to be questioning whether or not it was actually delivered at this stage is insane. Then they said they couldn’t refund the delivery fee ($39) because that was done through a third party, and it was my fault because I chose to use a third party. (Again, I ordered this all through the Lowe’s website, lol.) So I’m out a couple hundred bucks, not including interest. (STILL don’t have the refund.)
I asked if they could compensate me for the hours of time and all the frustration I’ve expended on this. Sorry, they don’t do that. And then of course I was the one being unreasonable because I got upset (didn’t curse or use abusive language or anything, but of course I was audibly upset). They’re assuring me again that the refund is being processed. Uh huh. We’ll see.
Never going back to Lowe’s. There’s a Target and a Home Depot and a terrific garden store (Coppola’s) a few minutes away. What a grift. Save yourself the trouble and don’t give Lowe’s your money.

Me and my husband love coming here for our small projects. My day was going great until we needed some help. We asked a young lady named Alyson M I believe. This was the WORST customer service I’ve ever had. She said “what” with a disgusting attitude and told me to find someone else. She insulted my husbands hair (he’s bald) we will not be returning to this location and I hope the manager has a talk with or or terminates because this is UNACCEPTABLE. I went to go buy a new egopower blower only to open the box at home and discover dust all over and packaging that had clearly already been opened a lovely surprise, really, if you enjoy paying full price for someone else's returned item.
Naturally, I rushed right back to the store, receipt in hand, foolishly expecting a quick and painless exchange. Instead, I was met by a cashier who seemed personally offended that I'd dare return a "perfectly fine" used product. When I explained again that I simply didn't want a used piece, the cashier asked "Which aisle did you get it from?" As if I would remember and I work at lowes to know where the blower is so she could go get it.
Then, the supervisor arrived to save the day, and asked the same question everyone else had already asked: "what's wrong with the machine?" Nothing was wrong with it, I explained, for the third time, I just didn't want a used one sold to me as new. I even offered to open it right there and prove it.
After a solid 20 minutes of back-and-forth, questioning, and general disbelief that I simply wanted what I paid for, I finally walked out with an actual new blower. This happened July 22nd.
Truly a masterclass in customer service. Would not recommend. Not good service.
