Hobby Lobby is da bomb!!!! Decorations and craft supplies galore!! Alot of decor items are on sale as well as current AND upcoming seasonal items! Only problem is that there's TOO many to choose from! 😅 Plus, they have some Godzilla decor too, so if you're a Godzilla geek like me, run here!!! This week's find: a King King figure for my collection!!

This place is a hot mess. They had one person working with an insanely long line. The stock is cheap in quality (but not in price). Everything always seems to be out of place. I've only been like 3 times in my life and every time I go in kick myself like why did I do that?

I love this store for their goods and I’m a hobbyloobyaholic. I shop a lot all there. I’m writing to bring attention to a very uncomfortable and upsetting experience I had today at the Hobby Lobby location in Paramus involving a cashier named Sandra. I want to start by saying that I am a very loyal Hobby Lobby customer. I genuinely love the store, shop there frequently, and visit the Paramus location often. I have always enjoyed shopping at Hobby Lobby, which is why today’s experience was especially disappointing. I went into the store today to return an item that was clearly within the store’s stated 90-day return policy. However, Sandra made the interaction extremely uncomfortable. Instead of simply assisting me with the return according to the store’s policy, I felt that I was being singled out and questioned in a way that was unnecessary and upsetting. She questioned whether the merchandise was actually from Hobby Lobby, even though the items clearly had Hobby Lobby’s store tags on them. I completely understand that employees may need to verify merchandise and follow company procedures, but the way this was handled made me feel as though I was being accused of doing something wrong rather than being treated like a regular customer making a legitimate return. This is now the third time I have had an experience with her that left me feeling singled out and uncomfortable. On another recent visit, I brought something to her attention and was told that they would need to look at the camera footage. I was confused as to why camera footage would need to be reviewed for the situation for a $5.99 merchandise when I had clearly spent more than $200 in that visit. and the way it was communicated to me again made me feel very uncomfortable. I want to be clear that I am not upset about an employee following store procedures. My concern is how I am being treated while those procedures are being followed. As someone who shops at Hobby Lobby often and genuinely loves the store, it is upsetting to repeatedly leave the store feeling uncomfortable because of my interactions with the same employee. I hope the management address this situation and train their staff with good customer service.
