  I couldn’t be happier with the work Greg and his team did. I brought them my sentimental childhood Ethan Allen bed to have the footboard restored, and the results were absolutely perfect. They took great care with the piece, and the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. The entire restoration was completed in just two weeks, which was much faster than I anticipated. I highly recommend Greg and his team to anyone looking for high-quality furniture restoration

  The only thing better than the work they do is the people who are there. In addition to being expert craftsmen they are patient, pleasant, and creative. I've been back multiple times for a variety of projects and have always been overjoyed with their work. The shop is an awesome space. I'm happy to keep coming back!

  I did extensive research while looking to have our two 50-year-old Eames coffee tables refinished and came across Maxwell’s in Mountainside. Their reputation is outstanding—they’ve been in business 4EVER and the quality of their workmanship exceeded my expectations. Furniture refinishing is a lost art. They did a beautiful job, and I highly recommend them.

  I haven’t gotten any furniture refinished at Don Maxwell but I’ve inquired and their prices are outrageous - it would cost more to refinish the piece than the piece is even worth! Overpriced
