I rented a 5x5 climate-controlled unit here in April 2024 on a $19/month promotion and prepaid a full year. On the phone, the sales rep assured me (on a recorded line) that I could renew at the same $19 rate. Instead, my rate went to $35 (84% increase), then to $55 (nearly 3X in two years), while the website still advertises the same promotional rate of $19 and in-store $31. When I called, the store manager would not honor the original promise. A VERY DISAPPOINTING WAY TO TREAT A PREPAYING, LONG-TERM CUSTOMER. If you rent here, get every rate promise IN WRITING and check the new-customer price regularly - your "loyalty" will likely cost you more than starting fresh.
