  My local Lowes has something above and beyond what I expected: a very dedicated, knowledgeable professional kitchen technician named Chris Cook. He spent considerable time and effort helping me to design, find and order exactly what custom Kraftmaid cabinets I needed for my major bathroom upgrade project. Chris really, REALLY knows his stuff; from what was going to be involved for the field installation, (he has extensive on-site installation experience) to cabinet construction, finishes, materials, advantages, disadvantages, options, accessories, vendor capabilities, etc. He was right on top of everything, treating my project (and wallet) as if it was his own. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough; like I said, above and beyond (WAY beyond!). Thank you Lowes for staffing people like Chris. I would (and will) definitely consult him again on my next project. Keep up the high standard!

  Let’s be honest, walking into Lowe’s is consistent. You go in for a single box of drywall anchors and somehow end up standing in aisle 14 contemplating a brand new power tool set, three indoor palm trees, and a riding mower you definitely do not have room for. But jokes aside, this place is an absolute lifesaver when you are in the middle of a project and need the right stuff, right now. They consistently have exactly what I am looking for, which keeps the home improvement momentum going strong. Now, we all know navigating a massive warehouse store can sometimes feel like searching for a lost city. But whenever I actually need a hand, the staff here is right on point. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to point me in the right direction or help me track down those hyper specific parts that seem to like hiding on the top shelves. It makes a huge difference when the team actually knows their stuff and treats you like a neighbor instead of a nuisance. We have all been there, you get home, open up the bag, and realize you bought the wrong size bracket or completely misjudged something’s fit or style. The real test of any store is how they handle the dreaded return counter, and Lowe's totally nails it. Exchanges are completely painless and hassle-free. If you grab the wrong item, you just pop back in, swap it out, and get back to business without any unnecessary interrogation or drama. At the end of the day, a good hardware store comes down to three things:, solid inventory, great people, and zero headaches when plans change. Lowe’s delivers on all three every single time. It is one of three of my go to spot for everything from quick weekend repairs to full DIY builds, and it never lets me down.

  Last week I bought an LG dishwasher at lowes paid 699.99. Fast forward ,I'm looking for a new phone at Best buy and decided to check the same dishwasher ,it was 150.00 dollars cheaper. My bad.

  I purchased an 80 gallon daykar dehumidifier. I was very satisfied with shipping and the timely manner which it arrived. I was very pleased with the appearance and sound quality of the dehumidifier. Unfortunately, I needed to return for a larger size unit. Customer service was very accommodating with this and I would highly recommend their service. This is why I gave them a five-star recommendation and I would recommend too friends. Mike

  Never buy an appliance from Lowes. I purchased a dishwasher and scheduled the install date. The installer didn't call me until 10 p.m. the night before the install to tell what the four hour window will be that they would come for the install. The washing machine isn't drying the dishes. So last Wednesday, I call the store and get put through to the idiotic AI system, which finally says someone would call me that day to schedule the service call. No one called so at 8 p.m. I go to the store. Customer services tells me I have to go to appliances. Appliances says they just sell appliances, they don't provide any customer services. I go back to customer services and the people there insist that it's up to appliances to schedule the service call, but they take my number down and say someone will call the next day. Ok, so no one calls the next day so I call lowes back up at 4 p.m. Customer services explains that they weren't supposed to call me. Rather appliances was. So I get a manager on the phone to complain and he eventually transfers me to appliances which gives me a phone number to call for services. After being on hold with services for half an hour, I finally get through to someone who says they will send me an appointment time on the following day. Oh, and by the way, the people who will come out won't be repair techs. Rather they will be the installation team and if they can't figure out what is wrong they will get a tech to come up, which I'm sure would delay the repair a few more days and involve endless waits on hold with scheduling. So on Friday, I get an email saying the installation team will come between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday. On 4 O'clock on Monday, my renter says she received a message from the install team but it didn't say when they will come. She called back and got their answering machine and left a message. She also texted. So I call the service number and listen to Lowe's employee blame everything on their installation vendor, Crest Home Solution (not to be confused with Crest Construction, who I used recently and was excellent) who finally transferred me to Crest Home Solutions. The person there said the installers called and my renter didn't answer, so they cancelled the service call, never mind that my renter tried calling them back and also texted them. So, now the best they can do is schedule another appointment for the install team three days from now. When I asked to speak to the Crest Home Solutions manager, I was told the manager only communicates via emai! How's that for customer service! Lowes and Crest Home Solutions are a total mess. Never buy an appliance from them. Two quick updates: The Crest Home Solutions rep said he would have the manager reach out to me. That was two days ago....still hasn't happened. I also text everything I have written above through the Lowes customer service chat features. No response. So, since then, I noticed that a nameless Lowes employee responded to this post by claiming the strive to provide excellent service. If this is a resulting of them striving, I'd hate to see the result of them just going through the motions. So, the nameless lowes employee, in responding to this posting, provided a "contact us" link for me to reach lowes, but since I already sent everything to Lowes via the chat service and never heard anything, the Lowes' employee response was just a joke. At this point, if Lowes want to make things right, they should come and get the dishwasher and issue me a full refund.
