Rose at customer service needs to be spoken to about her unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unprofessional attitude. We returned a carpet cleaner where she turned over the machine, and proceeded to say “this is filthy, you can’t get your deposit back for this.” (Keep in mind we cleaned, pulled hair, and wiped the bottom of the machine KNOWING we would not get our deposit back if it was dirty). We had run to grab the hoses from the car and came back to a line with 3 people ahead of us. Her coworker then asked if she wanted help, to which rose replied “don’t worry about it they can all wait.” Excuse me…but that’s atrocious behavior. Then while we were being checked out her coworker returned asking if she needed her break, Rose replied “I need to take SOMETHING alright.” Keep in mind there were multiple people waiting in line who also heard this. It’s a shame people like this are allowed to work in customer service

Although it is true about the large selection and variety of products in the store and the staff being helpful and friendly there is another side to this over rated home improvement store’s corporate office. In the future I will not shop at Lowe’s for carpet or flooring. After months and months of phone calls and e-mails to staff in corporate, they did not take care of a defect in a carpet product that was only 14-15 months old. They did not want to listen to the customer’s description of the defect instead took the easy way out and said the carpet just needs to be stretched at the customers cost. The fact was that the roll of carpet was “accidently” razor sliced in the middle of the roll during manufacturing or delivery. This slice got bigger over the year and made a line across the room showing a raised hump in the carpet. This room rarely gets used and they tried to blame it in on the traffic. Not caring about people tripping and falling over it, they never correctly repaired and wanted to shut up the customer with a stretch job. The line and hump in the carpet has come back after the stretch job and it is a waste of time dealing with Lowes corporate office. Their rule is the customer is never right anymore. It was obviously a stall tactic until the warranty runs out and to shut up the customer. This is a large company making millions and too cheap to replace a small piece of carpet.
