- NAN AAug 3, 20263.0I've been using this Hobby Lobby location for the past three months and have had three custom framing projects completed. Americo has been incredibly helpful every time. He has a great eye for design, takes genuine pride in his work, and it's obvious he cares about the quality of his craftsmanship and his customers. Unfortunately, Hobby Lobby has failed both its employees and its customers. I recently spoke with a manager after waiting over a month for my latest framing project, despite being quoted a 2–3 week turnaround. He explained that they have hired new staff, but they haven't been fully trained because Americo is split between two stores and simply hasn't had the time to train them. As a result, he's still the only person able to complete custom framing. That is a management problem—not an employee problem—and customers shouldn't have to bear the consequences of chronic understaffing. When I finally picked up my frame today, I discovered a screw had been driven directly through it, so now it has to be remade. I have no doubt the mistake happened because the order was rushed after I called to follow up on the delay. I wasn't calling to complain about Americo—I was calling because management has failed to properly staff and support the framing department. Americo deserves recognition for the excellent work he does under very difficult circumstances. Hobby Lobby's management needs to make the framing department a priority instead of expecting one talented employee to carry the workload of two stores. I don't support companies that overwork good employees, and after this project is corrected, I won't be returning for custom framing.

- HCHank ChangJun 8, 20263.0Hobby Lobby just off the GSP in Iselin. They have a lot of aisles of materials and need a bit more organization on the shelves, a store map would be helpful. Discounts on prices on the tag make you think you're getting a good deal, but the actual prices are always that discounted, it feels.
