Trying to do a simple return as per their customer service. Have a Kobalt blower that the battery went bad on. Tried to get a battery under warranty, they apparently have no way to do that. At the direction of their customer service, I bought another entire unit, and they said I could return the old one to the store, even though it is outside their return policy. Lowes Customer service stated they put a return authorization note on my account for the old one. So I go to the store and get jerked around for over half an hour before they say "NO", and then I am promised that the store manager will contact me back. The store personnel do not even know if and when the store manager is in the building. Even if he is, you are not going to get to speak to him. Easy to buy stuff there, but if you need customer service, it all falls apart pretty quickly. I buy alot of things there for my business, over 10K last year. I even asked if that mattered and was told no. If it doesn''t matter to them, they won't miss me.

Disapointed to find out today they removed the discount end capp in the tool section, I visited that atleast once a week. They did not move it to the back of the store either. They replaced it with some Kolbalt tools.. I even heard they threw away what ever tools and hardware that was on that shelf. Everything about this was a bad decision.

Not all but many here need training on how to talk to customers, specially who are at return desk, the only reason i go there as Home Depot is far and man when you compare home depot customer service with Lowes its a day and night difference and i believe this store is surviving only because Home Depot is bit far.
