  ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience with Leslie's Pool Supply in Hazlet. I ordered a pool pump and paid for same-day Uber delivery after being told it would arrive by 3:00 PM. Instead, at 3:15 PM I received a notification that the Uber delivery had been canceled. I immediately called the store to find out what happened. I was placed on hold for 25 minutes, hung up and called back, waited another 15 minutes on hold, called again, and was eventually disconnected. When I finally did get through, the woman who answered the phone was rude and dismissive telling me the hold on every single time I called. With no other option, I had to drive to the store (from Staten Island) and pick up the pump myself. When I arrived, I was simply told there was nothing they could do because Uber canceled the delivery. While I understand they can't control Uber, they can control how they communicate with customers and how they handle the situation. To make matters worse, I was never refunded the delivery fee I paid for a service I never received. The lack of customer service, poor communication, long hold times, rude attitude, and failure to refund the delivery charge made this a very frustrating experience. I expected much better from a company like Leslie's. I won't be using this location again.

  I’ve been to this store a few times, and I have to say, the selection is pretty limited, which is disappointing. What really frustrates me, though, is the severe lack of employees. On busy days, it's almost impossible to get help, and that makes the shopping experience really frustrating. They definitely need to hire more staff to provide better service to their customers. If they could improve both their product offerings and staffing, this place could actually be good. Right now, it just feels like they’re not putting in the effort.

  All employees are great. Problem is they only have one person working so they are running around the whole time when there are 7 people waiting to be checked out. Also they don’t have air conditioning which the employees said they complained but wasn’t heard. Will be contacting corporate and BBB because these are not fair working conditions. Manager needs to be held accountable

  I’ve been coming to this location for years and have always had a positive experience. Today while waiting, the store was so hot it almost felt like the heat was on. I instantly felt like I stepped into a hairdryer. The two workers that were on staff were incredibly but told me that unfortunately the air-conditioning unit was not working. It was so warm in there that it was cooler outside even though it is 84°. Do better Leslie’s!
