I’ve been at the Freehold location for almost 3 years now.
Today I called (just out of curiosity) to ask about my rent increases. Specifically why it’s so sporadic. One was after 11 months and this time it was 8 months.
I was told it has to do with availability of their units, makes sense.
Kelly, so kindly reduced my rent price to its previous amount. I wasn’t calling for that, but she went out of her way not only to help me, but to ensure I stay. I thought that was so sweet.
To be honest I was considering leaving if the rent went up to a base of $85. I started at $35. My current increase was to $65 but I am now back at $55 (plus insurance and tax).
Thanks to Kelly, I don’t have to scramble or worry just yet about the struggle of finding a new unit.

*On a completely different note , they’ve upgraded the gate, all staff is super friendly and the units are easily accessible (all ground level). They have unique locks and keys so theft is quite hard, security cameras at almost every corner. Ample sized parking spaces when loading/unloading your unit and even rentable spots for RVs and Boats.
The buildings are really clean but some bugs do get in, it’s the same with a house. Can’t blame them for that. Especially since people are coming in and out.
