- LMLynda MirraMay 28, 20265.0Aqua Doctor came to do leak detection/camera diagnostics for our skimmer basket line. After using another company to open our new pool installed last summer, the skimmer was no longer working. That company came back and said it may be clogged and used pressure equipment on the skimmer line to clear a possible blockage. They couldn't clear a blockage and said the line must be collapsed. I went back to the pool installer who said to get camera diagnostics done to confirm a collapsed line. So I hired the Aqua Doctor. Brian came and found the line was indeed blocked with debris, showing me from the pump side that the interior of a pipe that you could see a blockage going around an elbow. He worked out chunks of debris until the line was cleared and the skimmer basket function restored. Thank you Brian of Aqua Doctor! He believes the prior company, in opening the pool, then vacuumed, allowed too much of debris to go through the skimmer line. Looks like we will be switching to Aqua Doctor for future opening/closings of our pool and proper diagnosis of pool issues!!!
