- SIStephen IngisMay 7, 20261.0Got sold a power washer with a broke piece and when I went to help desk, it took 45 minutes for them to walk to the aisle and get me the replacement piece and supervisor said sorry there’s nothing more I can do for you. It took them a total of 2 minutes to get the new piece. Tons of employees just walking around ignoring requests to get the piece.

Unfortunately, the delivery was scheduled and then abruptly canceled, citing that my location was outside of their delivery zone. This information should have been communicated before payment was processed. The sudden cancellation caused significant inconvenience and financial loss, as I had a business operation dependent on this delivery. Now, I am faced with a lengthy delay and the additional inconvenience of rescheduling, which is unfair and unprofessional. I hope Lowe’s will address this issue and improve their communication and customer service in the future.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
