A well earned one star review from the staff at Lowe’s this morning. I went to buy one deck board and I needed a rough cut. That is it nothing complicated nothing involving advanced customer service skills because the lumber section was a ghost town with no employees around to help. I had to ask a cashier if someone was available for a rough cut. When I asked the cashier for help, they didn’t know how. I casually mentioned that perhaps the man in the blue vest might be able to help. They proceeded to ask ME if I knew if the man the blue vest could do the rough cut. I responded with I don’t know. I’m not an employee here. That is why I asked you. This circular reasoning went back-and-forth until I gave up and left. When I asked another person to speak to the store manager. I was told “we don’t have a store manager“ I know that none of the employees care whatsoever about the customers at Lowe’s. This is what we have to deal with in this community.

Bought a gas stove with the extra warranty. Had a gas leak Feb 26th, went to use said warranty, Lowe’s denied my claim and said it was still under the manufacturer warranty and to call them. Called LG and went back and fourth with them for them to tell me it was not under warranty. Back to Lowe’s where then they said opsie it is under warranty. The first person sent didn’t turn on the gas and ordered parts, still had a gas leak, sent another person, still had a gas leak, sent the same person from the first time to then cancel the day of the appointment. It is now June 3 without a stove. I was told by Lowe’s protection plan that I essentially need to have the gas leak occur 3 times and they try to fix it before they replace it. Mind you the stress this had put me under with a NEWBORN BABY and a TODDLER in the house while recovering from a c section. I was nice at first but it seems like I have to have an attitude to get anyone to fix this issue. I am so tired of calling and hearing their script they read and just feed you BS and not actually fix the issue. For everyone DONT WASTE TOIR TIME OR MONEY WITH LOWES. They do not care about your health or safety when it comes to their products they sell clearly by how I was treated. Also the cherry on top was I was supposed to put my house last month on the market but now I can’t until the stove it fixed. More money down the drain at the hands of Lowe’s

Terrible Lowes store. I ordered a 32' ladder ($559) and paid $79 for delivery. They sent a damaged ladder that was not functional. Asked for them to exchange it the next day, and they refused. They would only pick it up and didn't refund the delivery fee, just the cost of the ladder. NEVER shopping at Lowes again.
