This store is a great store if you're in the area and can't find a home Depot, they're similar to home Depot but the prices are different, depending on what you're getting it could be cheaper here. The staff here is great, they'll go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for.

Got the Lowes shuffle and told to go to flooring in which there was NO Help

I bought three smoke/co combo and two smoke detectors. Two of the combo boxes were open boxes and taped together. I bought them thinking that it would be ok. The rest were all four package box intact on the shelves and I only needed three combo. It turned out that one was a defect. I bought at Nashua NH. I went to Lowe’s in Chelmsford for exchange in a heavy rain and was told I had to go back to Nashua store to exchange, there was this complicated tax issue that just can’t be done. I went to Nashua customer store to exchange, the girl at customer service told me that she was told not the return open boxes and I have to call the manufacture to exchange. I thought that it was ridiculous, it was a defect and of course it was an open box. I raised my voice and maybe started to attract other high lever supervisors. Eventually one guy tested the detector and confirmed it was a defector and authorized exchange. I never had experience that had to make sure what I said was true during exchange. The employee training at customer service was not that good. Such a simple common sense thing shouldn’t need supervisor intervention. The bar to return is so high and intimidating. Later after I left store back in the parking lot, I remembered that the two of the boxes that I bought were open boxes in the first place and what the meaning of “can’t return open boxes”, they sell open boxes in the first place. I went back the store and told the lady the statement that the boxes were open when I bought it. The staff accusing me to be mean to the employee and ask me to complain on Google review. I won’t go back to Lowe’s even if they pay me. There are so many places that I can spend money and have better experience. Why bother
