I came to buy flooring materials for work, and the website clearly showed that there were 16 pieces available in stock. After arriving at the store, I could only find 5 pieces on the shelf. I spent over 40 minutes walking around the department trying to find someone who could help me, but there was absolutely no customer service. I tried looking for associates multiple times, checked nearby aisles, and even waited around the flooring section, but nobody came to help. For a large store like Lowe’s, this level of service is unacceptable. If the inventory online is inaccurate, there should at least be employees available to check the back stock or help customers locate products. As a contractor, time is extremely important for me. I drove to the store expecting the materials to be there because your website showed availability, but instead I wasted almost an hour with no assistance at all. Very frustrating experience and a complete waste of time. Definitely not the level of service I expected.

When I called back and said what happened they said they were busy. If the my said no one was there and they couldnt do it then I wouldnt be leaving a review. If when I called back they said we are sorry about that we shouldnt have done that, I wouldnt be leaving a review. Instead they had a lot of time to explain why they did it and not a lot of time to listen to me. I would have rather not waited on hold for 25 minutes if they didnt have time. It would have been fine if after ten minutes they let me know.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
