- JHjuli harvey2 days ago1.0Mainely Tubs is really good at selling things, not servicing them. I purchased a TYLO sauna from them in December of 2025. The delivery was late, the installation was rushed and the team that did the install itself were novice at best. The handle on my new sauna was garbage particle board and they drilled it out when they put it in. Second use and the handle of the sauna came off entirely. I waited for months of not being able to use it correctly before my father made me a custom handle - Mainely Tubs never resolved the issue. Now there is a safety recall where TYLO saunas actually set on fire and they are waiting for direction from the federal government as to whether or not they will get assistance with the recall. I got a letter from Mainely Tubs advising me not to use my new sauna until there is a resolution. I have written two emails to them directly to find out more and they haven't responded to either. Start to finish this has been one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had with a purchase of this size. The quality issue isn't their fault, the handling of it is.

Matt, the salesman, answered all of my questions and even called me 3 months after delivery to make sure everything was ok. When I did have a minor problem, they sent their technician Prescott to handle fix it. I was up and running in minutes. Even the 2 men who assembled the sauna were a pleasure to deal with. If you're in the market for a sauna or tub, I highly recommend them.
