  It's amazing how quickly a positive first impression can be undone by poor communication. Scheduling was easy, and I initially felt very good about choosing this company. Because we have dogs and a locked fence, I requested a call ahead multiple times (verbally on the phone) so I could secure the dogs and unlock the gates before the crew arrived. Unfortunately, that never happened. After waiting all day, I called at 4:00 PM and was told crews worked until 5:00 PM and that we were still on the schedule. By 5:45 PM, we assumed the appointment would need to be rescheduled, so we secured the property and continued with our evening. Instead, someone arrived close to 6:00 PM and gained access to our fenced yard by removing the lock pins from our gate. Our dogs were outside at the time. Thankfully nothing happened, but the entire situation could have been avoided with the simple call ahead we repeatedly requested. The pool was closed, but the overall interaction felt condescending and focused more on criticizing our property and previous contractor work & issues with our yard (that we are well aware of) than providing customer service. A simple phone call, respect for our property, and a more professional approach would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, we will not be using this company again.

  After owning several saltwater pools for many years I decided to make a change. I was spending so much money on corroded heaters, railings, ladders, basketball equipment etc. I found keeping the salt at the proper levels difficult, constant adjustments due to rain, evaporation and filling. And balancing the other chemicals was much harder and I spent at least twice as much on chemicals. Not to mention a new $1500 chlorinator each year. I felt like the benefits of salt was a myth. I removed the system, and installed a UV light filter along with an automatic chlorinator. The change in water clarity, the ease of use, and the very very low use of chlorine tablets has provided me with a tremendous sense of relief. I’m only a couple weeks into it but I really couldn’t be anymore pleased. I used Olympic after having an excellent experience with a liner replacement. I have read some of the most recent reviews and fortunately have not experienced any performance related shortfalls. I found the owner James and Scott (tech) very eager to help and work until they were confident everything was perfect. I do agree that they are lacking in Hayward product knowledge, but I thought they resolved issues and I don’t have any complaints. I will enclose a couple of pictures and maybe send an update or two the longer I have had the system. I am unaware of any other residential pools in the area with UV and hope I can eventually report a lasting solution to my years of frustration with Salt.
