Called them & they showed up same day. Tech was a nice guy but the repair quote given to me was far too much ($300+) for a part that I found online after the gentleman left for less than $10. Paid $150 cash to have the tech come out and diagnose (it was $148 but tech didn’t carry change). If I had a really nice new washing machine I’d understand but this thing is old and the part is extremely common
Edit: Saw their reply, still don’t understand where the extra $100+ bucks comes from. The part that I needed if I would’ve bought it from Whirlpool themselves (online) is $43.23. My question to Andy’s is where does the extra $113.77 come from? I purchased my washer & dryer together for $300. It nuts to charge me more than a new washer costs to fix my 18 year old unit…

Andy’s Appliance Repair continues to exceed our expectations, and a huge reason why is their superstar technician, Bill. He has been to our home multiple times over the years, and now we specifically request him whenever we need service. Bill feels less like a technician at this point and more like a trusted family friend.
Not only is he always professional, punctual, and friendly, but his knowledge of household appliances is truly impressive. No matter the issue—washer, dryer, refrigerator, or anything in between—Bill seems to know exactly what’s going on and how to fix it efficiently. He takes the time to explain things clearly, does the job right, and always leaves us feeling confident everything is handled.
If every service company had a Bill, the world would run a lot smoother. Highly recommend Andy’s Appliance Repair—and if you can request Bill, do it!

I should have known I was going to get hosed when I saw the best of Omaha signs. Shame on me. Will look elsewhere next time.

Way overpriced. Salesman work on commission so I probably didn't need what they sold me. They just round up to the nearest $100 and don't refund the initial diagnostic fee.
