- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. They didn't attempt to find the right house and rescheduled it to a different day without our knowledge. Been sitting by the window for 3 hours thinking they were going to show up. Called to speak to a manager about fixing the problem they said manager was on "lunch break" until 530 pm. Linda the manager made a point to say "I was home anyway". No I wasn't home anyway. I have a 4 year old special needs child. We could have been doing anything besides sitting and waiting at the door. She didn't call back like she said. Instead they sent an automated voice message that gave us a window the next day in which my son has therapies and I would not be at home. She gave attitude, and said there was little to nothing she could actually do. What is the point of having managers that can't really do anything?
