  I had never shopped at a Lowe's before and I certainly won't ever shop there again. When placing my order online, I checked the box that said NO ASSEMBLY. I drove more than an hour from out of state to the store. Upon arrival I was met by a person who instantly seemed bothered that I did not push a cart up to the pick up register so she ran off to get one. I expected my smaller items bagged, and everything on a flat cart, including a Pit Boss grill in a box. She loaded the individual items in the cart, then she pushed out a fully assembled Pit Boss grill. I asked who couldn't read directions that we request NO ASSEMBLY. My husband asked for a screwdriver to remove a few parts to make this fully assembled huge grill fit in the back end of my car. You would have thought he was asking her to disassemble the grill herself. No way was she going to track down a simple screwdriver from the pick up counter or the service desk, nor was this woman going to send either of the 2 guys to track a screwdriver for us. Her solution was to return the item completely. Knowing it would take days to have the money put back on my bank card I said "no, all somebody had to do was follow the simple instructions that I was required to fill out when I placed my order online". My husband went through the entire store until he found the isle with screwdrivers. Not everybody owns a truck, that is why I clicked the box for NO ASSEMBLY. The woman at that point claimed that I was yelling at her & demeaning her. I was floored, I never even raises my voice. I had no reason to. When I pushed back I told her if I was really yelling, everybody in the store would know. My husband did come back with the screwdriver. I asked him if he heard me yelling. He said no and asked if she handed over a screwdriver. I told him she claimed I was yelling at her. He looked at the woman and said "if she was yelling I and everybody in the store would have heard it". And he was right! Everybody would have heard me. He took off a large side piece of the grill and he and another person wheeled the grill out. In the meantime I went to self checkout right next to the pick up desk to pay for an item I had in my hand. A nice young man came over and asked how I was & if I found everything I needed. I asked him if he could hear me yelling at anybody in the store. He said he heard nobody yelling at all. Imagine that a woman claimed I was yelling at her yet nobody heard a thing. I was simply 20 feet away from the pick up desk. When did it become ok to treat customers badly?! Everything would have gone smoothly had she just handed over a screwdriver from the get go. Needless to say, I wasn't even handed a paid store receipt and had to call Lowe's to get a paid store receipt with the store number on it to register the grill. Never will we shop at Lowe's again.

  I worked with Nicole in the Decking Department of Lowe's and she was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Went above and beyond for us. We ordered the TimberTech PVC and she was so helpful in each step of the process. The person who delivered our decking was also wonderful. I think his name was Cyrus. He was so helpful as there were a couple items that were different than my print out and he helped me talk to someone in the decking department and sent them photos for me.   So 2 weeks ago my measurements were completed. I gave Lowe’s 2 weeks to contact me to set up a delivery date and install date. I go online yesterday and the Fargo ND store has my delivery date Sept 11 2026. I went online and could see everything was available from my order. I went to the store to find out what was going on. I don’t remember the person I talked to but it was the store mistake. They NEVER contacted me at all to tell me that my delivery date was so far out. I received a text message on June 3rd saying someone will contact me within 72 hours. Nope that didn’t happen so I had I reach out at that time to finalize the purchase. That was it, no contact from them again until I went to the store

  I headed here to pick up some supplies for a quick project and was happy with the experience. The store was clean and laid out well, making it easy to grab exactly what I needed without wandering around for too long. The staff were friendly and pointed me in the right direction when I had a quick question about materials. It is a reliable spot to visit whenever you need to get some work done around the house.
