I called to buy an EGO 42 inch battery operated riding mower. I was told that I would need to go to their website, sign in, enter some data, and buy it that way. I guess it's way too hard for them to just sell me something that costs around $4,000, take my credit card info and deliver it. Their procedures are in the way of getting them business. Screw it! I'll buy it through Ace Hardware.

Do not order anything from this Lowe’s. 5 weeks and still without a dishwasher. Wasted so much time on hold to never get someone on the line. They will cancel your order and not even tell you. Management & installation company can’t get in contact with the store to follow up on orders. Did not get compensated (a gift card would’ve been nice for all the time wasted). Furious is an understatement.

If they don’t have it physically at the store, DO NOT ORDER IT TO BE DELIVERED HERE. Also, DO NOT have home improvement materials shipped here, your project will be delayed because of this Lowe’s ineptitude
This Lowes management will fail to order it, misplace it, try and deliver a damaged version of it, and then string you along for a ride about getting a new one ordered. Just get a refund and shop at Home Depot across the street

Hello! I visited Lowe's on Hanes Mall Blvd in Winston Salem NC on Friday June 26.
I want to share with you how truly amazing Renee was. My daughter, Scarlett, is 12 yrs old and has worked really hard doing odd jobs for neighbors, friends and family to earn enough money to redo her bearded dragon's enclosure. She did all the research and knew what she needed to get. So with her purse in hand we headed to Lowe's to get part of the items she needed.
When we got to the register Renee was warm and sweet from the beginning. As the items were rang up and Scarlett was organizing her money to pay. I said to my daughter how proud I was of her for how hard she worked to do this. That's when Renee engaged in the conversation and asked questions about what Scarlett had done and what the materials were for. Scarlett told her they were for her bearded dragon and everything she was planning to do. Well Renee loves animals too and has many animals of her own including 2 bearded dragons.
Renee pulled out her own money and paid for Scarletts things!! I can't tell you how amazing this act of kindness was. It was so generous of her to do this for my daughter and it speaks volumes for her character.
I just want someone to know how amazing Renee is and for her to get the recognition she deserves. Not only was she great at her job and a wonderful representative of Lowe's but she is also a kind and generous person.

Do not believe a word a single customer service employee says to you. We went into the store to ask if we could place an order with them to be delivered after a specific date as we would be out of town. We were told yes, that it was a simple task to change the order date when placed in store with an employee. So we ordered multiple items valued at $1,100 for delivery on the date we requested. NOPE. The items came a few hours after we went out of town for a 12 days. I would have never known this if I didn’t randomly decide to check on the delivery status while on vacation. Not a single phone call from a manager, Lowe’s employee, nobody! Hopefully nobody steals all this stuff just sitting outside for 12 days! They will lie and tell you anything and everything you want to hear to get your business.
The most hilarious part of this whole story is when we originally asked about requesting a specific delivery date we were told “of course we can! Our manager is actually trying to get some good reviews so this will help him out. Let me bring you to someone who can help you place this order”. Well how did that go for you???
