  When I called to ask Doug about his Services he told me to come in at 2:00 and that he would replace my key fob by making a new one, he asked me what year my car was, I told him and he said he had it in stock, he made it very clear that if I got one off of eBay and brought it in to have him program it, and it didn't work, that I would still get charged because he didn't want to waste his time. So I went at 2:00 and guess what... he did not have the key fob that he said that he had, so he wasted my time. But with that being said he finally did make a key fob for me that following Wednesday and it definitely starts my car, the programming that he did has made it so neither one of my metal keys that absolutely 100% did start my car as spare keys before, do not now! The key fob gets very hot when I take it out of the ignition and I called him today to ask him about that, because it says on the research that I did, if a key isn't cut correctly it can cause friction and get really hot and that that's not normal. So he took absolutely no accountability for whatever he could have done wrong, and he had absolutely zero concern for me and what I was going through! I find that to be really bad business! He wouldn't even let me get two words in edgewise, and wouldn't communicate with me he just wanted to shove his words down my throat. While I was writing this he actually called me back, and he asked me to bring the metal keys in and that the only way that they started the car before is somebody bypassed something. I tried to explain to him but he wouldn't listen my last key fob didn't have a chip in it. But he just wouldn't listen he refused to listen to me he kept interrupting. But the whole point of me calling was because I couldn't start my car with the spare key to test to see if it was the car key that he cut that was making it hot . I feel so unheard ! So I absolutely would not recommend Doug! Not because he isn't a good locksmith but because of his lack of concern and unprofessionalism!

  Front door Schlage door handle spring broke(36 years old). Went to Lowe’s & Home Depot- buy a brand new lock system($150.) Went to A-1 Safe & Lock and he fixed me up with what I needed for less than $10. Done business with them many times before and will continue to do so ! Great people !
