Can't find anyone to help when you need help. Rang the help button, stood there 3-4 mins, still watching Lowes employees walk around, but no one responded to the call for assistance. Finally walked off without purchasing anything.

Went to the Washington, NC Lowes this morning to purchase some 1 X 8 X 8 oak boards. They show 10 on inventory in isle 48, spot 5, None to be found, not even a spot where they belong. I looked everywhere and then started looking for the illusive employee. None in sight, I went to the next area over, millwork and asked if they could find some help. They called the lumber guy on their little phone over and over with no answer and told me to go wait for help. I walked back over to the lumber area and waited almost an hour. I finally gave up and went to my truck and placed a pickup order. Supposed to be ready in three hours, I got a notice six hours later that they can't find any and cancelled my order. This place is so far from having any customer service it's pathetic.

I typically am not a complainer but I am experiencing an issue that no one is bothering to address.
This has been ongoing for a few months now. We bought multiple Pella windows and doors that cost a ridiculous amount money. Our salesperson, Sam, was very helpful with the sale. We have a contract of black exterior windows. She contacted us a couple of times after contract signed. Once the windows and doors were delivered, we never heard from her. Never stopped by our home to see if the job was going well or to see if we had any issues. Trying to make a long story short. After windows were installed, I noticed that one window has 2 exterior colors, one side white and the other side black. Mind you all exterior should be black as sold. I was told that a screen needs to stay on the window for it to be black. Screens are removable. They can rip. They can blow off. If I don't want a screen on it, I should be able to take it off and have a black exterior. Picture will be attached. I have reached out to Sam by email to have her come out to look at it. Did not get a response. I have been by the store and talked to an associate in the window department and talked to assistant manager in the store. I was told that the manager who was on vacation will get back to me regarding this issue. No word yet. I have reached out to Pella, no help. However a Pella tech did come out to put lock on window that was missing and he said it did not look right, both sides should be black.
I have discussed it the Project Associate from the main Lowe's office and I am told to just put the screen on it. When you make home updates, you want what you said you would get. When you don't get it at no fault of your own then the place you made the purchase should work with you instead if ignoring you. I am disappointed with how this has been handled.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lowe's Home Improvement
How do I find a product online?
Search using a keyword, Lowe’s item number, brand or manufacturer’s model number. You can also browse by department to shop Lowe’s large selection of items.
How do I check my order status?

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. You can pick up your order during store operating hours at the designated pickup area. Just provide the order confirmation email or order number with your photo ID (state driver’s license, military ID or state ID). For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Most (but not all) items can be returned within 90 days. If you bought something from Lowes.com, you can start a return online in your Order History before shipping it back to us. You’ll receive an email with the updated order information shortly after.
How do I locate information on recalls and product safety news?
Recalls and safety news for products sold through Lowe’s are posted on the Lowe’s Recalls and Product Safety News page.
How do I place an order with a tax-exempt account?
Visit the customer service desk in store to apply for a tax-exempt account.
It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
