    I came in today to reload a Lowe's gift card that I purchased in store a few days ago. On the website and through Lowe's corporate customer service, you can reload Lowe's store physical gift cards. I walked in, went to customer service where you do returns and there was on associate helping out a customer. Common sense would dictate that another associate should help out with the customer service line is going out the door and the customer being helped is taking 30 minutes for their problems. I went to a regular cash register and the associate immediately told me to go back to customer service because they said that you can't reload physical gift cards. Well, if you CAN'T, then why did I have to go to Lowe's.com, pull up their gift cards FAQ, and in English, black letters said you can reload physical, Lowe's store gift cards if you have purchased them in store. I had to physically show multiple associates on my phone, for THEIR company that it can be done. They literally shrugged their shoulders and said I don't know how to do it instead of figuring out the problem. I giving a at this gift card and going to Home Depot. Additionally, the assistant store manager said, and I quote, "It's fine you leave us a negative review." Well, here you go! You're welcome! ☺️

    Second trip in a few weeks where I was my own customer service rep at the store. I asked where the 42 gallon plastic contractor bags were. Two different customer service employees told me they didn't have any in stock. I found them in three different locations before I left the store. Checkout was ridiculous once again. I didn't want to bog down the contractor checkout with five 5/8x6x8 deck boards trash bags and deck screws, plus that line was nine customers deep. So I reluctantly went to the retail check out which (as always) was closed to end up in the self checkout line which was eleven people deep. I'll have enough sense in the future to go to ACE Hardware who still values quality customer service.

    Make sure you check every single tag on the boards when picking them out, they'll try to charge you double for "premium" boards that are mixed in with the basics. I tried to talk to a manager about it but they didn't even come talk to me so here I am. I wish there was another home improvement store close because this place doesn't care anymore. Rating specifically of the manager on duty 4/28/26 1:30pm

    With 2 hours before closing, we received exceptional help from Austin, Mason, and Gabriel in the garden section. They had to get the fork lift, took their time and managed to get a huge pallet of fencing off the top shelf for us. We are very grateful for their help today and not give up on getting the pallet down for us.
